  1. Hi, my question is, when i arrive and get a 45d visa exempt stamp and after i go to immigration, do i get an extra 30days or 45 days? Thanks.
  2. hello, when i arrive at phon penh airport, i ask for a ordinary visa, pay 35$ and get it, right? no invitation letter required? or how much they ask in thb? should i change money first? i booked a flight with airasia on the day my thai visa expires, from don muang to phnom penh. does airasia require an antigen or pcr test for boarding? or insurance or return ticket...etc? afaik cambodia does not require anything. ust an antigen test on arrival.. (iḿ NOT vaccinated)
  3. ok, thanks. but i think you can show up without a test, and if they ask you to present something, you just have to pay, and make a test on site...
  4. correct. that's what i've been told, too. after you paid, you get a 'welcome letter' and issuance date is when your 5y. start running.
  5. i'm a bit confused now. last thing i heard was, that nobody, so unvaxxed too, is required to show anything. at all. that was latest information. has that changed?
  6. according to the elitevisa t/c, should the whole elitevisa be dropped by government or anything you would get the money back for unused time.
  7. hahaha, you don't even know the weed i grew... but i guess 'you can tell'.. right?? hahaha
  8. no. but i did grow a bit some 20y. ago. and i don't need to study medicine to know a doctor can't tell your sugar levels just by looking at you. it's quite simple, really. the amount of resin you see doens't equal thc levels. what you claim is nonsense. but if you believe it, who cares...
  9. you really think you can determine thc levels just by looking at a picture?? well then you should stop trying to show off as an expert. you're making a fool of yourself.
  10. whilst overstaying is not as minor as some ppl think, less than 24h is not a big deal, esp. if u have a printed ticket at hand. even if you get caught by police, i doubt they would even idc you. just tell you not to miss your flight. however if maybe u plan to get i.e. an elite visa, sometime in the near future, it's probably worth having a clear record, hence get the extension from immigration
  11. in germany only 'real' crimes, that lead to prison time are being recorded. might be similar in the uk. also, i am not sure but i think when you apply for a visa, they don't background check (just imagine the effort and look at all the real criminals that make it into thailand), it's more like self information that you sign in short: u wolly too mutt
  12. sounds good.. in the last 10 years i had one for 2 days, in 2014. but between 2000 - 2010 i had quite a few, and one very long. that was before they started punishing with bans. at that time it was possible to stay long term with just tv and border runs... i'll find out soon enough, when i apply... did you use thailandelite?
  13. i got the same question as the op. i hear different things... some say they have been asked about overstay only for the past three years, some say ppl with overstay record are not eligible to obtain an elite pass. the thailandelite application form asks if one has ever overstayed.. :/ i wonder if thai immigration ever clears overstay records after let's say 10 years.. well, probably not. maybe records from 10y+ aren't in the system bc they did not collect data that efficiently back then...wishful thinking, i guess..
