Hi everyone was just wondering if you meet the £18600 yearly salary for a Uk spouse visa would you still need to have any savings and show them this , or is it just the salary they require . Many thanks

My Thai wife will be applying for a spouse visa very soon and we are worried about the application due to her tourist visa being rejected twice . 2 years ago we was only engaged and applied for a Uk tourist visa and was rejected 2 times . We spent alot of time getting this application together and feel like we gave them everything that was required . Her first visa was rejected due to them not being satisfied with her work status . She works in a family shop and when visa office contacted her parents to verify this the phone call was missed as her dad was sleeping as he works through the night and sleeps in the day . We applied straight away and the second visa was rejected because they was not happy with her financial status even though it was exactly the same as the first visa , they said even though I was her sponsor she needs to satisfy them that she can fund the trip alone . We are now married and For the spouse visa we have everything they are asking I earn over £18000 a year and we also have another Uk registered business which myself and my wife are 50% owners/directors, this business also makes over £18000 a year . We have all documents required including bank statements etc . Has anyone else been in a similar situation and successfully obtained a spouse visa. We are really worried because if this application is rejected I can’t ever see her getting a visa . Can anyone give us some advise . We did not use a agency last time but will definitely use one this time . Does anyone know of a good agency ? Any help would be much appreciated, if there is anymore information you would like to know about our situation please do ask .
