lots of info by google.
https://www.seat61.com/Vietnam.htmhi. i was told by the ticket office in Hanoi trains weren't running to Sapa

Hello. I had booked an airbnb in Sapa on Friday. I went to the train station today to buy tickets and I think she told me that they are not running trains to Sapa. Can anyone confirm this? If so, do they run night buses from Hanoi, and are they comfortable.
Any help much appreciated

Hello. I'm hoping to fly to Vietnam on the 15th March. Samitivej is charging 4,000 baht for a 24 hour fit to fly pcr test, which seems very steep. They also offer an ATK fit to fly at 1,100. I guess this is only accepted in a few countries.
Does anyone know where I can get a fit to fly pcr test done cheaply?
No jokes about massage parlours
Much appreciated

Hi
I have to post a work laptop back home. Is it going to be extortionate, I fear the worst?

Hello,
Just about to book my airbnb for a further 30 days, from the end of Feb. I arrived on visa exempt Dec 31st, and received a 30 day extension taking me up to feb 28th. Looking at the news, it seems very likely I will get a further 60 days?
Cheers

Was that your first extension after entering the country visa exempt or with a tourist visa?
If yes you got the allowed 30 day extension for your entry. Next time it will be 60 days.
ah, thank you

Returned from the temporary K visa facility today and it was chaotic and exhausting. They only gave me 30 days when I requested 60. British citizen

BTW your Airbnb should do a TM30 since it's the law.
Thank you but if i don't have plans to book a further 60 days with them, why would they say so. Isn't that the purpose of the TM30, to say you plan to stay there for a further 60 days?

I am to apply for a 30 day extension this week, having arrived on a visa exempt 30 days. I have heard that one may be able to apply for a 60 day covid extension, and I would need a Tm30 form. My plan is to go to Chiang Mai for 30 days, having done 30 days in Bangkok. I am just after some clarification, as I have read that I will likely only be able to apply for a 30 day extension, and then perhaps a further 30 days when that is up. Do I really need this Tm30 form? I don't want to hassle the airbnb unnecessarily and have only 30 days booked in Chiang Mai
Thank you

Can anyone recommend a hospital or dr? Thanks

You most likely will not have choice re type of extension.
If covid extensions are continued you will be first made to apply for the standard 30 day extension.
After that you may be able to apply for covid extension.
Ah, cheers

Seems that you have done very little research.
From visa exempt your first step will be "standard" 30 day extension.
That starts from end of current permit.
The covid extensions are due to end Jan 25.
You will be able to obtain a covid extension if they continue to be issued post Jan 25.
I think they will be.
Grand. Thank you. So hopefully covid extensions will continue on after Jan 25th, as my current visa exempt ends last day in January. If that is the case, I will ask for a covid extension at the visa centre

You might be able to get the 60-day covid extension if that continues this year...as land borders are still not freely and fully open around Thailand.
Ah, i arrived on a visa exempt 30 days on Dec 31st, and would like to stay as long as possible, naturally. Are you saying it maybe possible to get a 60 day extension due to covid rather than the 30 days? I would just go to the visa centre and ask for a 60 day extension?

Can you apply and likely receive a 3 month tourist visa from within Thailand after entering on a 30 day visa exempt?
British citizen. Now I know Thai people who are willing to supply their info for the visa form, invitation
Thank you

Because there were no available slots at the weekend. I have one booked tomorrow

I spent 12000 on plane hotel and thai pass roughly, then a month in a airbnb for 500 pounds. They should have allowed more time for the second pcr test. also, the Hotel told me nothing

Exactly, and especially now that the T &G Program has been shelved, as much as anything because of the implementation/admin issues. Immigration are not normally interested/concerned with your insurance or vax status, only the details in your passport.
Thank you

The hotel I stayed at was nice, the Ari Quarter but rubbish at informing me what to do. They said absolutely nothing about the sceond pcr test or the app

43 pounds! Ah man! So i repeat, when applying for a 30 day extension, will this be scrutinised?

My job requires i can work remotely so i can travel. I don't work for a company based in Thailand.
Ah are they expensive?
