hi. i was told by the ticket office in Hanoi trains weren't running to Sapa

Hello. I had booked an airbnb in Sapa on Friday. I went to the train station today to buy tickets and I think she told me that they are not running trains to Sapa. Can anyone confirm this? If so, do they run night buses from Hanoi, and are they comfortable. Any help much appreciated James

Rapid PCR test costs, in Bangkok for entry to Vietnam
Kitano298 replied to Kitano298's topic in COVID-19 Coronavirus
Thank you -
Hello. I'm hoping to fly to Vietnam on the 15th March. Samitivej is charging 4,000 baht for a 24 hour fit to fly pcr test, which seems very steep. They also offer an ATK fit to fly at 1,100. I guess this is only accepted in a few countries. Does anyone know where I can get a fit to fly pcr test done cheaply? No jokes about massage parlours Much appreciated

Hi I have to post a work laptop back home. Is it going to be extortionate, I fear the worst?

60 day covid extenson Tm30 form?
Kitano298 replied to Kitano298's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Thank you but if i don't have plans to book a further 60 days with them, why would they say so. Isn't that the purpose of the TM30, to say you plan to stay there for a further 60 days? -
60 day covid extenson Tm30 form?
Kitano298 posted a topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Heeellllooo I am to apply for a 30 day extension this week, having arrived on a visa exempt 30 days. I have heard that one may be able to apply for a 60 day covid extension, and I would need a Tm30 form. My plan is to go to Chiang Mai for 30 days, having done 30 days in Bangkok. I am just after some clarification, as I have read that I will likely only be able to apply for a 30 day extension, and then perhaps a further 30 days when that is up. Do I really need this Tm30 form? I don't want to hassle the airbnb unnecessarily and have only 30 days booked in Chiang Mai Thank you -
