  1. Entered on TR, extended once for 30 days. Wife is Thai, want to change to Non-o based on marriage. Married in US. 1. Will certification of marriage certificate from Secretary of State in state which we were married satisfy MFA requirements to legalize? -I didn’t realize this can’t be done in Thailand so having to mail to US. -I am aware we have to register foreign marriage at local Amphur first. -I do have an affidavit from US embassy confirming marriage certificate details, but translation company said they weren’t sure MFA would legalize based on that. 2. From list of required documents courtesy bangkokimmigration.com, can anyone clarify the following items: -‘6.3 Letter from a government office, embassy or consulate, certifying that the applicant is a member of the referred family’ -‘Other Relevant Documents such as; Rental Agreement between the Applicant and The Landlord. With a copy of ID card and House Registration of the Landlord (certified true copy by the Landlord) : Condo or House purchase agreement ; Location the house or condo map and a rental receipt Past three months.’ —I am staying with Thai family -‘The applicant who comes to contact must show the notification of residence in accordance with Section 38 and present the accommodation notification.’ really appreciate any help!
