Why are they charging 1,300? Isn't a Visa Exempt Entry stamp supposed to be free? Is this essentially a bribe?

Hi all, My current visa expires on the 5th September (covid extension of a visa exempt stamp) If I leave for Kuala Lumpur on 2nd and return to Phuket on the 3rd, will I be given a new 30 day visa exempt stamp? Or do I need wait until after 5th when the previous expires? Thanks

Hi all, The final day of my visa exemption 30 day stamp is tomorrow. Is it ok for me to do the 30 day extension extension tomorrow, on the day of expiry... or should I do it today? (will save me a trip for something else I need to do) And do I need a photocopy of every page of my passport that has a stamp or just the main page? cheers

The e-visa turnaround is quick? So pay the €30, get the evisa, then re-apply for the thai pass?

Hey all, I got my Thai pass approved and put "Estimated Date of Departure" as 29 days when filling, to be safe. But I applied for a 60 day e-visa now and it's awaiting €30 payment to begin processing. Are these affected by one another? Would it be stupid to should up with a 60 day visa if my Thai pass shows 29 days when they scan it? Thanks

Yes that's what I was planning to do that but I'm Irish and they closed the Thai consulate here I think, so I would have to send my passport to London and it could have been held up for weeks

I did 2 extensions in the main Phuket town office last time, 1 took long but 1 only took 15 mins. But will definitely have a look at that Patong one thins time, nice one for the shout. Yeah would be nice, they should just do 3 months visa exempt for all western countries try absorb some of the European summer tourism

5 months I was thinking, then to Australia in October. So it would have been just 1 re-entry. I didn't do a land border run the last time as I thought it was only 15 days, will definitely look in to it this time

Just visa exempt. I was thinking I could directly apply for the 60 day covid extension before the 30 day normal extension. It's 100% not possible?? Maybe I'll try it and see what they say on the day, might get lucky
