you can clearly see that the motor bike changed the angle of his turn from hard right then veered more to his left 0:09 befor trying to complete the turn .. the truck driver must have seen th initial angle and tried to manuever out of the turn path. the inexperienced bike driver sealed his own fate
There was no veering left. The boy stayed straight to let the other bike -- on his right -- make its left turn. At the same time, he approached the intersection, then immediately locked in on the approaching bike. Judging everything (about the boy) from that instant, clearly, he is 100% focused on that bike and timing his entry to fall in behind it; and 0% thinking about the lane he needed to cross.
As for the truck, definitely moving fast -- gauging the speed of the motorbikes already in traffic. But the driver hit the brakes as soon as he saw the bike -- causing the swerve -- and I see no fault on his part, unless they can prove he was over the speed limit and wanted to use that to blame him for the deaths. That said, even at a safe speed it's doubtful he could have stopped that heavy double-load of sand in time to avoid the collision.
Overall sad. Hopefully, people will take time to reflect and eventually find peace.
"the inexperienced bike driver sealed his own fate"... as well, the fate of others.

My same experience as well. I figure -- as many on that side of reality (their alt-reality) -- probably no life or no job. Or perhaps paid shills, professional gas-lighters. Of course, maybe enjoy doing for free; a sick obsession for stirring up hate and division.

Unfortunately, has been progressively getting worse since America's birth.
("Progressively" lol.... see what I did there? Progressively... pun intended.)
Not surprisingly, there was an uptick for Trump. But then dropped again two ticks for Biden. If KH gets installed, the inaugural address will nosedive to kindergarten level, perhaps even to special needs level.
https://www.independentsentinel.com/american-voters-are-getting-dumb-breathtakingly-fast
“Americans are getting dumb breathtakingly fast,” says Peter St. Onge. In 1900, Inaugurals were written at a college level, but today, they are written at 8th grade level for Barack Obama, 9th grade for Donald Trump, and 7th grade for Joe Biden.
In 1828, Andrew Jackson’s Inaugural was written on a 22nd-grade level, in other words, a two PhD level.
George Washington’s Inaugural was in 26th grade, so you’d need that third PhD.

No. There are plenty of other venues. But the New York times has a lot at stake when it makes such claims. Because it knows that right wingers will jump at the chance to prove it wrong. Can you prove their claims wrong? You got a credible source that says differently? I think that what you've really got is nothing.
Intelligent people and most "right-wingers" don't need to "prove it wrong" because they already know most media is liberal biased, particularly NYT, and therefore inherently wrong or at least overly ignorant.
And you made my point, even doubling down. Your "source" said she was a specialist (lol), yet where is her fact checking for the progressive politicians?
My source? Common sense. And that trumps all.
Open your mind.

Where is her/your fact-checking on JB/KH?
Again, no surprise.

Far less coherent than in the past, very hard for him to continue a sentence for more than 15 seconds, alot of rambling, complaining, playing the victim card, and juvenile name calling as usual. Even most of the CEO's he met with a month ago were shocked at how lacking his message was.
He is in severe cognitive decline and it's a horrific thing to watch, he's an increasingly dangerous man and having him as the oldest elected president in history would not be a good thing. He rambles on and on, and it is easy to discern that he has a very hard time maintaining a thought for more than 15 seconds. He is, and has always been the master of slogans, and memes, but the public is just getting tired of the same game, day in and day out. He does not possess the creative juice to adapt, and that is absolutely killing his campaign, at this point. He is headed for the greatest humiliation of his lifetime.
Doubtful you're a doctor capable of diagnosing "severe cognitive decline." My guess is a paid gas-lighter.
To be fair, I readily admit I'm not a doctor yet can easily recognize severe <removed> when presented. And I do for free. Happy to help you out.
And speaking of "rambling on and on"..... you sure can! 555

Trump often sounded as though he was speaking with a heavy lisp or slurring his words, and that had social media stirring.
Trump rambles, slurs his way through Elon Musk interview. It was an unmitigated disaster.
Maybe they'll convince Trump to step down and be replaced by his V.P. candidate? Well, I can dream, can't I?
So refreshing to hear a leftie concerned about Trump's health. Everyone should be concerned for the next POTUS.
Rest assured the slurring was due to the "Space" platform. Many glitches for sure, but shouldn't take away from the substance.
To ease your concerns, this should make you feel better...

Some days (most days) I'm glad I'm not an American. Witnessing the struggle between a VP who doesn't give interviews and a former president who doesn't have any policies (beyond slogans, that is), is like listening to nails being dragged down a blackboard. All the way from now until November. But as a non-american, I really hope that Trump loses, hugely. As president the only person he would be interested in is himself -- well apart from other billionaires (like Elon Musk and Peter Thiel, waiting to feast on the spoils of lower taxes for the rich), and luminaries such as Xi, Putin, and Xi, who he seems to idolise. His presidency would mean the demise of the American middle class, already on the slide.
Thank you, also glad you're not an American. It's dying from too much ignorance and complacency already without your help.

I hope she does do three. And I hope you Trumpsters keep underestimating her. She didn't just fall out of a coconut tree. She has been a local prosecutor, Attorney General of California, a Senator from California, and Vice President of the Unites States. And she was on her college debate team. And she's up against an angry old whiner that doesn't know how to react to reality. Maybe the false FOX narrative has suckered you all in.
Didn't fall out of the coconut tree? She IS the coconut tree.
Suggest: Don't eat dinner on debate night. The words you eat will upset your stomach.

Not an interview. More so, just two guys having a meaningful discussion.
Oh wait... two self-made billionaire guys, dedicated to doing good in the world, having a meaningful conversation.
Not so stupid.

What you're saying is that 100 million Democrats hate America, that's some really brilliant stuff. A bit like saying we are all communists. Dumb and dumber.
Not exactly, but you're getting close. Just keep looking deeper in the mirror when you write.
100m Dems hate USA? Not necessarily. Let's just say ignorance is bliss. Yet, there are plenty of smart Dems with open eyes, who see thru the facade. If you did more research and less gaslighting, you could graduate to the latter group.
Good luck. To all of us.

Biden won 81,283,098 votes, or 51.3 percent of the votes cast. He is the first U.S. presidential candidate to have won more than 80 million votes. Trump won 74,222,958 votes, or 46.8 percent of the votes cast.
Questionable? Exactly.
Go research how many of those "81,283,098 votes" are not legitimate. Biden didn't win, he was installed, and for obvious reasons. You seriously think he'd get more votes than BHO (i.e. the man behind the curtain)? And think why they'd give him KH, who got 0% in the primaries. Both are idiots. And oh look, now she too, has been installed as Dems candidate -- no opportunity for the people to choose.
USA now a banana republic, thanks to the Dems and DS. And you shill for it.
Everybody is free to hate Trump as much as they want, for any reason. But anyone not pushing for him to win, also hates the USA.

Because the article is smoke and mirrors. While you're distracted with "fraudulent activity," "mule accounts," and "compliance," it's simply a ruse -- an excuse -- to push for digital everything.
99% of the article beyond the first paragraph is blatantly telling you the purpose. The most obvious statement being, "The digital banking market in Thailand is projected to grow by 8.69% between 2024 and 2028..."
As for compliance (the end goal), you're never going to know what the banks' compliance laws are. You just need to be a good account holder and be "compliant" with the bank.... blah blah blah. And good luck figuring out what even that is.

Honest Question: How is Trump a 'threat to Democracy'?
in Political Soapbox
Posted
You are correct: the EC is undemocratic, which is why it is absolutely necessary for the survival of the USA.
A majority of people are ignorant to the fact that the U.S. is not a democracy, it is a constitutional republic. The latter is governed by law, the former by popularity. If no EC, democrats would win every time simply from CA and NY; the votes of people in lessor populated states would be rendered useless.
The reason -- and beauty -- of the EC is to give equal weight (and representation) to ALL votes in ALL states, which is where the powers are "supposed" to remain. Hence, the United States of America.
Democrats would love to abolish the EC and shift the powers to the Fed Govt, as they try to do every day; bullies on a good day, mafia on other days.
Oh... And that pesky constitution. How they scheme every day to render it, too, useless and insignificant, their finger on the shredder button every waking minute, to establish their bully pulpit.
When teaching the U.S. constitution is mandatory in all schools from elementary through college, the USA will perhaps have a chance to reverse course.
