the number of respondents wearing a mask at all times in public settings dropped from 95.1% to 94.8%
WOW!
.3%. That many?
Just wow. I need to be more aware of my surroundings I guess, 'cause I didn't notice.

For electronics, furniture etc. Facebook marketplace has worked best for me. When I tried selling electronics on Kaidee nearly only scammers contacted me.
Kaidee worked fine for vehicles though.
95% of people who buy second hand stuff will pick it up themself because they are afraid of scammers, even low value items.
The 5% who opt. for shipping will usually ask you to up a short video showing you and the item, or ask you to write something specific on a piece of paper and take a picture of it together with the items..
Yeah, when in the States last year for a few months, selling my vehicle and other items, the scammers were unbelievable. Don't ever want to go through that again. Guess I'll get a Facebook account and use it on the phone I want to sell, haha.
I live rural, but have a place in BKK. Think I'll wait until I go there, stay a few weeks. That should make things a lot easier.

Maybe consider just giving it away to some poor Thais if not all that valuable? Save you a lot of aggravation and might make big difference to some less fortunates?
Items are valuable.

Bank transfer, then ship by Kerry or similar courier would be my suggestion.
Okay, thanks, but would you transfer money to a stranger and hope to get what you bought?
I'm not familiar with any of this so forgive me if I'm missing something.

Suggestions on how to get paid by, and get the item to the buyer?
Local, no issues, 200 kilometers, how do folks accomplish that?
I would assume there are issues with scammers....
Thanks.

What is the best way to sell items here in LOS?
I have a number of items I have no need of:
I don't use Facebook, so please don't suggest that. Any other classified avenues?
Thanks for any valid suggestions.

Spokesman Thanakorn Wangboonkongchana: Oh, we haven't thought of that yet....get back to ya soonest.

What business in today's economic climate would be wise to invest in, in the Land of Schemes?

someone else's comorbidities do not take precedence over my own health.
Surgeons change masks every 20-30 minutes, and, something no one I have ever met knows, supplemental oxygen is pumped into surgical suites because the surgeons are wearing masks. Not a lot of supplemental oxygen in Bangkok.
People who would never put Diet Coke in their gas tank, guzzle it and eat garbage I would not feed to my dog, but you want me to respect them?
Nope. Not my problem.

Gotta love Karma, haha....
He was hit as he sat, sure enough....
then Pathumsuthi-ly slumped over his gear shift (which is what got him in trouble in the first place).

If so, then I am also bashing the Japanese, Koreans, and Chinese.
My comment was not demeaning; it was a cultural observation.
And thank you for the thoughtful suggestions on how I can be a better person.

Most Thais wear masks because they want to conform to whatever everyone else is doing, not because they are worried about covid.
They don't want to be the first to stand out in the crowd by taking them off, which also can be inferred by other Thais that the de-masker considers themselves special or superior.
Westerners tend to be more independent thinkers.

Amazing that the same posters here that rabidly defend illegal immigration in the US, voraciously condemn foreigners here in Thailand who simply make a post asking about getting a visa agent....
God forbid they should overstay a few days....

Seems like a very well thought out solution....
Repo a hotel that fails due to no guests for two years, nor for the foreseeable future, and market it as a great investment.
Too bad foreigners can't buy a hotel, there are an awful lot of gullible ones on this forum....

Is there another one?
The one in the picture HAS been opened.
And the signage among the still not completed work is not a masterpiece.
It will be closed every rainy season as the lower level floods.
