  1. Hello dear fellow members, A friend of mine is getting a TR visa from Kuala lumpur for Thailand: There is a list of requirements and one of them states as follow: === Proof of payment for accomodation for the whole period of stay in Thailand ( The reciept must state the tax payer number of the relevant hotel/accomodation ) Nowhere in his agooda reservartiton he got that tax payer number... What he should do to get it ? Does anyone had a similar situation ? does he have to provide that number for every hotel he is staying on thailand ? if so , how does he get that? I can't help him because I never encountred a similar situation... Can anyone help? Has someone been in this situation . Thank you
  2. First I wanna thank you for the suggestions at the end of the comment, that is really helpful and I appreciate it alot. About my stay in Thailand, I am really here for tourism purposes right now: "Enjoying the beaches and having fun and exploring phuket "... I want to extend my stay because I have the possibility to do so and don't have obligations back home... And yes my permanent stay is In Germany ( 6 months at least per calendar year to legally be considered permanent stay , which is done in my case for this year)..
  3. Thanks for the advice.. I don't like taking the bus alot. Can I just leave by plane and comeback by land ? (minimising land distance)
  4. I am in Puhket, so going to malaysia stay 1 night and comeback is a good option right? I mean legally, everything is ok right?
  5. Hello Folks, I am staying in Thailand for tourism purposes. (My permanent stay is in germany) I came in April 2022, stayed ONE MONTH and went back home . I cameback in July 2022, stayed ONE MONTH and went back home. I cameback In September 2022, stayed ONE month and extended my tourist visa for another month (SO now I am basically staying 2 months this time). In 10 days my visa will expire and I don't want to go back to Europe, I'd rather stay here. Can I go to Kuala lampur stay there 2 days and go back to thailand (get the 45 days visa entry) ? Will I have any issues doing this ? Like I said, I am only doing tourism activity . Thank you
  6. The context may be clear... But the translation is not precise though .. That's why I needed an accurate translation. Thank you anyways.

  8. Me too. I filled in the T7, gave a copy of passport and stamp, gave a photo and paid 1900 baht. 1 hour later I got my visa extension on my passport .. About my visa expiring on 14th, the officer told me there are no penalties in my case because there were holidays on those days . I want to thank everyone in the forum who helped me and gave me the correct information .
  9. A mechanic charged me 2500 baht to repair it . Is that alot ? Should I try to negotiate the price ?
  10. Hello folks, Today I rent a motorbike from my neighbor (next building) for a month. Unfortunuately, on the same date at night, a big water flood destroyed everything in my street ( about 1.5m of height of water outside my building right now) .. And the motorbike i rent is 100% broken and I AM not even sure if it is still in the same place because of the big water current ... I am wondering, what is going to happen in this case: The person I rent from will also have his other motoribkes damaged because all the motorbikes are parked in the same place ( Imagine until now I can't even see the motorbikes cauz the water is completely covering them). I didn't cause this to happen and I don't know how I will be handling this situation with him? What am i risking? Could I be accountable for this natural disaster ? What should I do ? I mean, I never encountred this kind of situations even in my life, so what should I do ? Here are some photos and videos of the situation at the moment 311895561_5511740675529835_1706911257175291228_n.mp4
  11. Yes, I did that right now. They'll fill it for me and send it by mail. ????
  12. So booking a one night hotel SUNDAY-MONDAY should be enough to solve this whole problem, right ? Or I still need to book it for the whole remaining period of stay ?
  13. Thank you for this clarification. I just got a last question: is the TM30 something i need to bring with me on monday? or sometimes they don't ask for it in the immigration ? ( only filling the address in the TM7 ) ? About me staying with my gf, the landlord knows I am staying with her... He even charge her twice for water this month because we are two person living in that room/hotel . In this case, should she ask the landlord to fill the document you provided me in your message (TM30 form) ? Which option is the best: get fined 600 baht and get the housemaster of the residence do me the document, or book one night hotel (sunday to monday) and ask them to fill the TM30 (even this option confuses me as it will only be a one night stay on the hotel and the immigration may know it and can be problematic in that case . Anyways, thanks for the advice in either cases
  14. Hello Folks, I am going to extend my tourist visa (for another 30 days) in immigration office this monday and I wanted to be prepared in advance. (My 30 days exemption has expired today. Due to holidays I wasn't able to renew it on 13 or 14 October, that's another topic which was already answered in another thread) Here are the list of the things that I am gathering with me on monday, can you please help me if I forgot something: My nationality: French Age: 29 Documents gathering with me on monday: . 1 passeport sized photo (3.5x4.5cm). . 1 copy of my passeport main page. . 1 copy of 30 days stamp page ( from the passport) . Visa fees (+ 2000 baht in case of something inexpected happening) Questions: Q1/ Is there anything else I need to bring with me ? Q2/ Should I print the TM7 in advance, fill it and bring it with me? Or I have to get it from the immigration office and fill it in place there? Q3/ I wasn't given a TM6 form this time on my arrival in September, is this normal? Q4/ On the TM7 form, there is a question about the reason of extension: can I simply write 'Tourism purposes' without going muchfurther into details ? Q5/ On the TM7 form, I need to provide an address: Well, I am actually staying at my GF room, which she rent. and for which I have the address, But I don't have a document that prooves I am staying with her, should I ask her to prepare a document for me ? Q6/ Should I provide an exit flight reservation proof ? Or that's not required ? ( I know exactly what week I am leaving thailand, but I still don't have the exact date as i still didn't change my return flight date) BTW, I am renewing my visa in PATONG IMMIGRATION OFFICE. Anyways, thank you.
  15. No, Holidays are from 13 to 16. Here is a photo I took from the immigration bureau door. ( Holidays 13-16)
  16. Hello Folks, I am facing an odd situation that I put myself in. I am on a tourist visa exemption (30 days) which expires today (14.10.2022). I decided to extend my stay . However, the immigration office is close from 13 to 16 due to public holidays . I didn't knew about the holidays, otherwise I wouldn't have waited until the last two days of my stay to extend my visa. What am I risking ? Can I explain the situation to immigration on monday ? How do you think they will behave? Is there something I can do now before monday ? Btw, I went to police station today and they told me they can do nothing for me and I need to wait until monday to explain it all to immigration . Thank you all
  17. Thank you very much... Well, I will be staying exactly 30 days there and I'll need to make a RT-PCR or antigen test when I leave Thailand as required by my home country. So, It would be really risky to get the 30 days insurance if by accident I am tested positive on departure from Thailand as I will no longer be insured starting from my last travel day.. So, I think i'll pay extra 350 BAHT and get the 2 months insurance, that way If iny of the bad scenarios happen, at least I am covered for extra time . If I was going to stay for 2 weeks, than the 30 days plan would have been perfect.
  18. Hello Folks, I will be coming to thailand in 3 weeks. I already booked everything ( plane ticket, TEST&GO package) except the covid19 travel insurance. In the official authority website (tp.consular.go.th), they recommend one of the these three insurances: FWD , AXA, SAY HI THAILAND. The FWD has very attractive prices compared to the other two . There are three plans with the FWD insurance. The cheapeast one (PLAN A) has a 700 000 baht coverage if diagnoised with covid . (30 DAYS INSURANCE) That amount exceeds the minimum requirement (20 000 usd) for applying for thai pass ... So, I won't have any issues if I chose that plan insurance right? I am a little hesitant because it looks much cheaper compared to the other two insurances. So, I wonder If I had misunderstood something ... Does anyone of you ,folks, already purchased the FWD PLAN A travel insurance and had no issue with their thail travel pass? Thank you
