  1. Hello,

I'm looking for a cost-efficient and effective means of organizing virtual meetings among a team of 10 at most. We don't really need video and I'm not really interested in any VoIP solution. I'm looking for the standard calls from a regular phone or mobile. I want to ensure no interruptions during the call for whatever reason - being a slow or unreliable Internet connection.

I had used Cisco Meeting place in a previous company I used to work for but that was purchased and installed by the company itself. We are a small team and we cannot afford to purchase any voice-conferencing solution. We're only looking to lease on per use basis.

Any recommendations? Truly appreciate any input.

    Thanks.

  2. If I tell you today that Gordon Ramsay will be cooking at least 10 dishes for you tomorrow night, come hungry - what would you do and how would you prepare for it?

    It would have to be:

    1. You'll eat less today and tomorrow until the dinner.

    2. You'll try to exert some activity to ensure you've burned enough energy and are ready to refuel.

Note the controversy here: advice given to lose weight is same as that given to people who want to eat more.

Message is: it's not about overeating and exercising. These are not permanent solutions to weight loss - only temporary.

It's about the quality of the food you're eating rather than the quality. This I have concluded after personal research and after years of trying various types of diet that just never work.

Cut the sugar from your diet and eat natural foods. Stay away from processed products and low-fat replacements. Eat quality food and allow your body time to digest it (keep away from eating or drinking too late).

Exercise for better health and not to lose weight. Don't follow-up on your exercise with a hefty meal. A morning walk is good because it the warrants a good natural breakfast void of sugar and carbs. I hope this helps.

  3. No, but continual flooding did and will keep happening and poorly thought out schemes will not overcome the problem.

off these planned projects and everything will 'sail in' smoothly. The country needs them - they only need to be explained thoroughly. And Plod is certainly not the man for this job.

<deleted>... don't build on floodplains... water has been running away naturally for squillions of years...

yeah right! And urbanization, modernization, and industrialization also did not exist "squillions of years" ago.

Not all modules are poorly thought out. But even if they were all vehemently and intelligently designed , the other side will still manipulate the public to say otherwise.

And rightly so, especially when a major portion of the funds will be lining the pockets of the politicians and their ever smiling friends.

And you're likely right! And if you were, then it's true for every political party in power. We should then stop all currently planned projects, review all past and present projects, and start indicting all involved politicians for corrupt practices, regardless of which party they're in.

  4. Get Plod off these planned projects and everything will 'sail in' smoothly. The country needs them - they only need to be explained thoroughly. And Plod is certainly not the man for this job.

  6. Ok the best wholesale supplier of Flaxseed and other beans and cereals is located on Suk. Soi 36. Manager and owner is an old man more than 90 years old. He'll still sell you 500 grams or in less quantities as he's extremely pleasant and helpful. His grown-up kids are also around to help support the business.

Business title to look for: BBI Co. Ltd. He supplies to all the retail stores in Thailand.

I cannot find any info online ?

    https://www.google.com/search?q=BBI+Co.+Ltd.

Are you sure that going soi 36 will be ok ?

    Thanks.

yes they should be there. While I haven't been there in a while, I don't see why they'd shut down such an extensive business. I found this: http://goo.gl/IJdzMv. Not sure if the numbers are valid though but try them out.

  7. Not in defense of Mr. Aphrirak and not knowing any further facts regarding the accident, but why would Mr. Aphirak was charged with committing reckless act leading to death of other person? His job is driving the truck to collect trash and they always park on the side of the road to do it in every country of the world. Isn't it the responsibility of the driver behind to recognize this and avoid an accident. Driving at a high rate of speed behind any garbage truck is just looking for a crash, especially of the roads in Samui!

    Maybe he didn't see him??

  9. Look who's talking. Here's how it goes:

    - You establish illegal, unethical, and immoral businesses in Thailand.

    - You run this business until you become a billionaire tycoon.

    - You've established yourself enough to seemingly 'disconnect' from the same businesses.

    - You enter politics and and position yourself as a person against corruption.

    - You start lecturing people on what you think is morally right.

And the funny part in all this, this person is elected by the so-called educated in Thailand. Give me a break.

The difference is, he has come clean. The rest of them are still spinning the same lies to cover the same old tricks.

I forgot to add that - thanks for pointing this out.

  10. so you have one so-called fugitive sentenced for 2 years for exercising his power for land purchase. Amazing!! What a crime!! Hundreds of other politicians (on the opposition side) may have been involved in similar type scenarios - only have not been caught. Then you have sons and daughters of the elite killing people on the roads here and there - and then escaping with suspended sentences or fleeing to Singapore. This double-standard is rampant in this society whoever be in power - reds or yellows or others. Suddenly, one side thinks it is 'ethical' to ban an amnesty bill. Totally agreed to that because everyone who is convicted must pay for their crime. However, does this solve anything? Does it solve the double-standards in society? Does it bring everyone to justice? What about the other guys who shut down the airports for 11 days? These so-called riots may appear to be of a legitimate purpose but they are nothing more than just a thirst for 'power'. And both sides are just playing a political game and we are all stuck in between.
