They should be grateful that is all the US is doing, just be glad that Thailand isn't caught up in a proxy war like Ukraine or like Lao was. If Thailand had oil, you could bet that the US would be in Thailand setting up a different puppet government. -
This is exactly why the unelected PM set up the senate like he did, those in power are reluctant to give up that power. I think the problem is not the senators, but who controls the senators. Power corrupts people. What is the difference between the Myanmar and the Thai Juntas? I think very little.

Hmm, a rich hotel owner suggesting a higher taxes on foreigners, until the travelers get tired of being milked for more money for the rich or corrupt and go to Cambodia and Vietnam and cause the Thai economy to tank again. This guy can go suck a lemon.
