They should be grateful that is all the US is doing, just be glad that Thailand isn't caught up in a proxy war like Ukraine or like Lao was. If Thailand had oil, you could bet that the US would be in Thailand setting up a different puppet government. -
This is exactly why the unelected PM set up the senate like he did, those in power are reluctant to give up that power. I think the problem is not the senators, but who controls the senators. Power corrupts people. What is the difference between the Myanmar and the Thai Juntas? I think very little.

Thailand is rooted in corruption and will always be, unless the youth are taught better. Nothing happens in Thailand without little envelopes being passed around. Certin law enforcements agencies have been called out numerous times on this very platform for being corrupt, Joe Farri and the ones running a extortion schemes in night life areas.
