Only the 197th time these questions have come up in these threads, and always from anti-Evers, it is never a genuine question. (Not saying that's true of you but it is true of everyone else who has asked).

Hertz, and it was an incredibly stupid business decision to buy 100,000 Teslas. They are a rental company, people generally rent in towns they are visiting and don't live in. If you're staying in hotels or travelling it is likely you don't have your own charger so an EV is an inconvenience. When you're renting you just want to take off and go where you want to go.

As said a gazillion times, EV's work if you have home charging. If you don't have home charging then they are not really fit for you. EV rentals just don't make sense for most people.

Ok Boggs, how much exactly is a gazillion? Is it more than a trillion?  Anti-Evers, hilarious.

Interesting video about a guy wanting to sell his Taycan and the dealer didn't want it.  I guess this guy is a paid shill for anti-Evers.

  2. When it comes time to replace the batteries, what's the cost?  When it's time to sell, how much are people willing to pay for a used EV?  I've seen a number of news reports about buying batteries costing quite a bit of money, as well as resale markets for EV's basically in the crapper. Parts, how much are spare parts and panels?  I've seen some outrageous prices on fixing vehicles after an accident.

Interesting that one of the big car rental companies in the US went all in on EV's for rental cars, and the public aren't wanting them.  Now said company has a lot of unused inventory that they are taking a huge loss on.

If the Border Patrol had full funding, this wouldn't be an issue.

Seeing as they are being paid to look the other way, help in getting water and supplies, cutting fences etc. more funding would mean more of the same.  Or, would they all of a sudden do their job if they receive more funding?  ( I've got a bridge to sell you if you believe this!)

  4. Look into this book and watch some videos on youtube.  There's a lot of people that have followed this course and ended up from stage 4 to no cancer.   It is a much different approach then chemicals and radation.  It has to do with metabolic health and starving the cancer.   https://www.amazon.com/Cancer-Metabolic-Disease-Management-Prevention/dp/0470584920

Here's a long indepth video with those who were on the protocol, along with stories of others who followed the protocol.

It's no secret about Trump's and Kushner's business dealings.  That said, it is better to be on the right side of Saudi Arabia and the Gulf States.  Their tremendous wealth is often used for political purposes. The U.S. does the same thing throughout the world; buying friendship and loyalty.  It's all about money.

If enough countries join BRIC and abandon the dollar the U.S. is screwed.  No more printing money indiscriminately, followed by austere budgets and high inflation.

Yes, Trump should have said something about Khashoggi's murder.  Was it was mentioned in private?  We may have to wait for another Julian Assange to find out.

Confessions of an economic hitman explains in great detail how the US gov't and it's cronies stage coups and take over countries.  The book is well worth reading.

"A case of Covid no longer means isolating for five days, according to the latest guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released Friday. It’s the latest sign of the virus’s normalization four years after it upended our lives.

You should now follow the same precautions with Covid as you take with the flu, according to new guidelines from the CDC."

And this from medical specialsts should quieten the Biden bashers and dumb trump supporters.........

A lengthy report by the Department of Justice on President Biden’s handling of classified documents contained some astonishing assessments of his well-being and mental health.

Mr. Biden, 81, was an “elderly man with a poor memory” and “diminished faculties” who “did not remember when he was vice president,” the special counsel Robert K. Hur said.

In conversations recorded in 2017, Mr. Biden was “often painfully slow” and “struggling to remember events and straining at times to read and relay his own notebook entries.” So impaired was Mr. Biden that a jury was unlikely to convict him, Mr. Hur said.

Republicans were quick to pounce, some calling the president unfit for office and demanding his removal.

But while the report disparaged Mr. Biden’s mental health, medical experts on Friday noted that its judgments were not based on science and that its methods bore no resemblance to those that doctors use to assess possible cognitive impairment.

In its simplest form, the issue is one that doctors and family members have been dealing with for decades: How do you know when an episode of confusion or a memory lapse is part of a serious decline?

The answer: “You don’t,” said David Loewenstein, director of the center for cognitive neuroscience and aging at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.

The diagnosis requires a battery of sophisticated and objective tests that probe several areas: different types of memory, language, executive function, problem solving, and spatial skills and attention.

The tests, he said, determine if there is a medical condition, and if so, its nature and extent. Verbal stumbles are not proof, Dr. Loewenstein and other experts said.

Why not put to bed the calls of lack of mental fortitude and take a competency test? It seems like the logical thing to do.  They could also release the interview from back in  2017 and  also subpoena Hur. Why not get to the bottom of it and end the speculation one way or another?

If he's mentally fit, great, if he's not, next........

Well, Mr. Putin, your interview worked well.

Within days, the US Senate dropped ongoing arguments and issues voting 67 to 32 to advance a $97 billion bill that predominately aids Ukraine. Reuters

Better shore up your Crimean Bridge defenses, dude.

While the infrastructure in the US collapses.  Brillant. Send money overseas, give migrants phones and debit cards, while not giving actual citizens anything.  How's the rebuild in Maui coming along with everyone getting $700 and a big FU from the federal government?

I am not getting my information from MSM, I am looking for it in independent media.

Since Putin came to power, he has repeatedly stated his desire to see the Soviet Union restored.

IIRC, the Gorbachev agreement of 1991 guaranteed the sovereignty of Ukraine, in return for surrendering its nuclear arsenal.

Putin trashed that agreement when he illegally annexed Crimea in 2014. That was when other countries really started signing up to NATO.

He then put the icing on the cake in 2022. Sweden and Finland joined up. Finland joining effectively doubled the border Russia has to defend in the West. Brilliant thinking by Putin.

Dictators get told what they want to hear. I'm quite sure Putin was told Ukraine would be a cakewalk, and NATO was weak and divided. It was a massive intelligence failure, in a country that prides itself for its skills in that area.

Russia is enormously wealthy, in land mass and resources. Trying for even more in Ukraine is simply kleptomania.

The image you posted - reminds me of a guy at work we called No-Toes. Could be Putin too.

I am posting facts, if you think you have better ones, please post them.

Glen Greenwald is pretty independent.  I agree that 99% of media is propoganda.  MSM is handed a script that they recite from and are told what stories to cover/not cover.

Notice how the farmer uprising all over Europe is pretty much bottled up.  You won't see the BBC, CNN, MSNBC etc covering this.  This is just one example of how MSM is steered to cover certain things, and not to cover other things.

I never said he was lying. He forgets, he forgets what he has forgotten, and he mixes up rather important details of events. He doesn't just stutter- he mimbles, rambles, loses his train of thought repeatedly. And it is getting worse and worse as his Presidency continues. Hell, even check 2020 Biden with today and there is a remarkable decline.

    He certainly didn't forget Mitterand!

    What old dodge? I don't recall <wink>

He had periods of better control over it than at other times. So what? That doesn't make him less of who he always is and certainly his stutter, controlled or not, doesn't make him any less of a person. Your issues with his stutter does however lessen you.

I'd love to see his "supplement" protocol.  Amazing at times he seems quite awake and jittery, while others not so much.  What wonderful "supplements" is the guy on, just coffee?
