Hi, I am supposed to apply for a 90 day non-immigrant B visa for business purpose in KL next week.
AKA I work for a company abroad, and will be doing a project in Thailand.
The proof of finance burden listed for KL seems crazy excessive. Am I looking at the wrong list? Is this for some special long term version? Has anyone done this before and tried it with the standard 20K in a bank account?
I've applied for this kind of visa before and never had to show this much cash.
The checklist from KL says
The applicant’s original bank statement or bank book. The bank statement must show the account’s name and number, balance and history of transactions of the fund no less than THB 500,000 or equivalent for last 6 months

The checklist from MFA says
- Evidence of adequate finance (20,000 Baht per person and 40,000 Baht per family). https://www.mfa.go.th/en/page/non-immigrant-visa-b?menu=5e1ff6f857b01e00a84023d4
Any tips or guidance would be much appreciated.
Thank you
