You may be shocked to learn that I don't compare prices to groceries in completely different countries.

    Chicken breasts 30% over BigC.

  2. Means nothing. Every time I go down that road people are driving in the wrong direction.  Last Thursday I almost ran head on into two scooters, different locations, going about 20 mph. No cop anywhere to write a ticket.  Both were farangs .... this time.

here here..Trump killed a million Americans with his covid lies! Negligent homicide

    So ..... you lied.

CDC data indicates there were 385,443 U.S. deaths attributing COVID-19 as an underlying or contributing cause on death certificates in 2020.

By contrast, there were 446,197 U.S. deaths attributed to COVID-19 on death certificates in 2021, as of Jan. 12.

  4. THE REMEDY!

Years ago (40) I live through a 3 month heII after a Trip to Puerto Vallarta. I had insurance in the US, the doctors were FAILURES with their "meds". I had a Columbian friend. She said "Wake up in the morning, no food, no water. Drink a clear liquor, Vodka, Rum, whatever. (If it's not "clear" it has nutrients.) Drink as much as you can, not too fast, until you pass out". Sure enough, after 3 months of hell, in one day, I killed everything.

    But, that's just a cure.

    THE VACCINE!

Put a flask of clear liquor in your bag. Before you eat streat food, take a shot.  After you eat street food, take 2 shots.  10 years in Tijuana. I travel with Vodka.

A decently dressed Indian guy came down the escalator at Phrom Phong BTS Station in front of Em Quartier Mall, Bangkok. Asked if I speak English. He pressed his internal start button and went straight into his pitch, showing me his -- not sure if it's called a colostomy bag if it's used to collect urine. Yeah, yuck. Drama button 2 gets pressed and the tears started to flow. Then and there I knew the game was on. "No. Bye." The nerve these bums have. I have also gotten the "you have a lucky face" pitch in years past.

That's funny.  I used to work in Tijuana. Had a company.  Crossed the border for 2 years then moved there for 8.  There was a guy that had a fake "surgery drain bag" on his stomach. After about a year, I told him he was a fake and I'd seen him doing his crybaby act for a year.  He wasn't fazed. The next time I saw him, I stepped out of my truck and loudly announced to everyone in the border (yeah, we had one in 1995, FJB) line that the guy was a scamming liar. Never saw him after that.

This world is just chock full of scammers these days who refuse to work for a living and prey off the naivety of others. We just simply have to be smart enough and display sufficient survival skills to be able to thrive in the world these days.

Just say no to idiots, just say no to strangers, just say no. I would rather give 20 or 30 baht to a homeless person in real need, than give 100 baht to some idiot who professes to have psychic ability.

I absolutely KNEW you were gonna say that!

Chump didn't have the $83m in the sexual assault case and secured a bond which cost him about $10m more. Doubtful this lying piece of 💩 has the $175m. Guess we'll find out in 10 days. He may get some for-profit insurance company to again cover the bond, but that'll cost him much more and they'll be sure to secure top notch collateral from the Slimy Fraudster .

I only hope TDS is a terminal disease.

Actually, the Appeals court ruling makes sense, if you believe they will ultimately reduce the verdict.

The ones having a bad day are the "experts" and former prosecutors who never considered that the Appeals court had a calendar.

And let's not forget the limp wristed liberals suffering from TDS now spending their time being crybabies.

The two things are separate and one does not cancel the other. It doesn't matter when your visa expires. If you are going to stay in the country more than 90 days then you need to report. By extending your visa, it does not reset the 90 day clock. You still need to file the 90 day report. The only way to reset the 90 day clock is to leave the country and when you return the 90 day clock starts again.

Same just happened to me. 90 day expired on March 16th.  Visa renewal by March 22. Used online 90 day reporting. It asks for visa end date.  I put March 22, on the 5th of March.  Seems they can figure out that your passport may be at immigration and you need a 90 day report to be with it.  Sent my approval by email the next day.

    It is,

I also dont use the monthly method.

But when I transfer money from my US account where my pensions money is deposited.in my Wise account there is and drop down window . where you chose the reason for transfer. There is a choice "for visa extension reason"  ot something worded as such. I alway pick this in case there is am emergency that would require that I withdraw some of my bank balance, that way I have the monthly income method  also available to me.

That's same as do, however, Wise downloaded PDF receipts do not show the bank your money came from or the reason for the transfer.  Only the deposit information, date, amount, receiving account number.  I sent them an email a while back regarding that, they never responded.

Yes but you had better have a type B personality as the regulations for most things it like going from the frying pan into the fire and general development and living conditions is well behind Thailand.

Like everywhere else, it's all about how much money you've got and your tolerance level.  Type B personality makes you a target .... everywhere.

That is the same; they suddenly claim the documents for both 60 day extension or the yearly one, is not good enough anymore, in chiang mai. But elsewhere there seem to be no issues... Just sucks, to suddenly be kicked away from your own immigration office, while my son is born here too, for no reason.

It makes you feel intimidated and threatened, as a parent. As our son would be stuck here, if I am kicked away. So it also make me re-think thailand long-term. Anyway, as always there is a solution visa wise but that does not change their behavior at this office, or how much that sucks.

Take a look at the Philippines.  Much easier.  They actually want to there.

  13. I gotta say, I know his anger.  After carefully instructing a barber in Jomtien that he was to cut my hair all the same length, about 1" to 1 1/2".  ALL THE SAME, MY WHOLE HEAD.  I specifically said "No Tapers"  "No cutting short" AND "Do you understand?".

First move?  Lifts all my hair above my left ear and literally cuts the whole side to 1/4".  I got pissed off immediately.  Obviously, won't ever go to that shop again.

Don't have a direct answer to your question, but I might be moving soon and have some decent, new, home gym equipment that I don't really want to take with me (Smith machine, treadmill and exercise bike) if that's an option for you and you have the space. . Wont post any more info about it right now as I believe I need mods approval.

I'd be interested in the treadmill.

  15. Go to San Francisco and take the "Drug Addicts in the Streets Crapping Themselves" tour. Don't trip on the syringes. Or maybe a real adventure .... "Bulletproof Chicago Crime Tour Bus".  Or the New York "Fight an Illegal Alien for Your Dinner Tour".  They're all pretty good!

Why do you need Gmail for Google Maps? That doesn’t make any sense…

To save locations.  It will only save if you're signed in.  Otherwise, look up where you want to go, planning never to go back without looking it up again.  Also, if the map location is off a quarter mile, you can move their location bubble to fix it .... following their approval.  Like my first visit to BigC in Pattaya.  It was way off in 2016.  As was a restaurant I was looking for in Rayong.  They'll send an email and say "thanks" if your edit is accepted. Not that it mattered.
