  1. Maybe it came from the radiator? It definitely sounded like something mechanical suddenly broke. Battery was recently changed so it's fine. Kawasaki will pick it up on Monday and I'll update this thread then. Got a feeling it's something major.
  2. Yeah so I'm thinking it's something else. Loud noise from the front that was buzzing ticking vibrating for 30 seconds after I turned of the bike that slowly faded. Then the bike won't start and the starter makes a buzzing noise it didn't make before.
  3. Wouldn't say clicking more like a fast vibrating buzzing sound. And if it's the abs how come the bike doesn't start and why does the starter sound buzzy now?
  4. I'll see if I can get to the fuse but will take it to kawasaki either way. Luckily it happened right as I parked at home. So no rush... If the abs sensor breaks does it normally make a loud sound? Because it kinda sounded like something broke physically when I turned it off.
  5. Gotta get it to kawasaki somehow. Edit They offer pickup. 300 baht.
  6. The sound was really loud. Almost sounded like something broke when I turned it off. Came from the front. Now won't start at all. How do I get it to kawasaki? Do they do pick up?
  7. So I just got back from a trip. I probably did around 1500 km all in all. As soon as I got home the ABS light turned on. I turned the bike (Kawasaki 650 2009) off and it made this weird buzzing/vibrating sound from the front and it kept on buzzing vibrating for quiet a while. Now the bike won't start and the starter sounds weird. It has been working flawlessly for the last couple of days. No warning signs then suddenly this. What could it be?

  9. New stanchions working great. I'd recommend anyone to buy from Aliexpress. It took only 7 days and quality as good as OEM. I would say my handling issues are 95% improved. I do feel like somethings still a bit off if it's the tree or if it's something else I'm not sure but feels good enough to keep riding.
  10. Where can I find a good screen for a xiaomi mi 9t? Xiaomi service center refused to do it as the phone wasn't bought in Thailand? Is MBK the next best bet? Ideally I want OEM but if there's any non OEM screen just as good that's fine.
  11. I received the stanchions and they look good. Kawasaki installed then but now they're saying the upper and lower steering stem isn't completely straight. They obviously recommend changing them out but that would cost 8k Baht extra. They also said they could try to fit it even though it's not completely straight but if my bike still feels off I need to come back and have the steering stems changed. Any opinions?
  12. Also what can I expect in delivery time? Seller says 7-10 days. Guaranteed delivery says one month?
  13. Are there import duties on items bought from Alibaba? I thought it was tax exempt from China? If I include shipping and duty on the stanchions the price difference between kawasakis and the ones I found from Alibaba isn't that great. Thanks
  14. I'd like a CBR650R in the future but I'm happy with my 650R as long as I can get the handling sorted. ????
  15. BTW the rear brake light housing is broken. Is that replaceable or do I have to buy the whole unit?
  16. Maybe I'm imagining the unevenness of the forks but when I brake it feels like the bike wants to pull a bit to the right and when going over bumps it feels like the front isn't stable as stable as before the crash. My bike is currently at kawasaki who said the stanchions are bent and seem to have shallow pitting and some scratches. I've asked them to check PSI and the other things mentioned here in the thread. Here's a photo of the tyre tread. I also uploaded a photo of the stanchions earlier.
  17. Yeah it's not worth a lot and that's why I don't want to sink a ton of money on it. What's the B4000/pr fork tubes? Where can I find them here in Thailand? According to the store I talked to on Ali-express it will take 7-10 days to get it shipped but on their website it says guaranteed delivery within a month and that's way too long to wait.
  18. I haven't checked it in a while. But it was fine before the crash. Then after the front was bent. I can feel that the forks doesn't dampen equally when I push down. Same when riding over bumps or uneven road surfaces. The bike wheels unstable in the front.
  19. Did it fix your problem completely? I mean it's not really expensive but if I can get away with half the price I'd much rather buy the forks online and then have kawasaki install them. It's no fun to ride now and if I were to sell it I doubt I'd get more than 35k baht for it. I'd like to keep the bike but it handles very poorly now. The handlebar is slightly bent but I do think it's the forks that are causing the issue just like kawasaki is saying. I can feel it tracking when going over minor bumps and it just doesn't feel as solid as before.
  20. Do not think it's the tyre pressure unless the crash caused a drop in pressure? Kawasaki said the inner tubes are bent and need to be changed.
  21. After a spill my bike handles pretty poorly. It feels like it pulls slightly to the left when driving and feels unstable when handling bumps. Took it to kawasaki who said the front inner fork tubes are damaged and should be replaced. However they want 15k for everything including labor. The inner tubes are 5500 baht each. I can find them online for much cheaper, for example here from https://m.alibaba.com/product/1600276991181/Motorcycle-Front-Inner-Fork-Tubes-Pair.html Kawasaki said they'll install them for me but obviously can't guarantee anything. I've got no idea about the quality. Has anyone bought inner fork tubes from Aliexpress? Are they safe to ride? Or do you happen to know any reputable sites where I can find a pair of front inner tubes for a kawasaki 650r 2009?
  22. I ordered them now. I'll let you know my opinion once I've installed them.
  23. It says on the title they should fit mine but when I ask the seller he says he doesn't know.
  24. These should fit right? Seems like they are slightly different length though. My current ones are 170mm.
  25. Yeah I went around like 5 shops but everyone says they don't have it and I need to buy it from shoppee or lazada.
