  1. Update: I am back from my Visa run to get a Multiple entry Non-Im O visa at Saigon. Required documents: Passport, letter from wife, Marriage Certificate (Photocopied front and back), Blue Book, Wifes I'd card signed. That's all they ask for on the website. Only problem was once he went through everything. He wanted to see a print out of my finances. Luckily I had my Bangkok Bank passbook with me that I had updated the week before. He went through every page. I did say do I need that since I have to leave every 90 days. He didn't answer and sent me off to get every page of the passbook photocopied. (Not a problem as there is a shop about 100 meters away.) Apart from that everything went smooth.
  2. More Questions. Date of previous visit to Thailand: Is this when arrived or when departed? Sounds like when arrived. Current address: (Saigon) They only give 2 small lines... The address is massive. Can I drop eg: Phan Ngu Loa Ward. Its a killer. Countries for which travel document is valid: UK so write "All"? Thanks.
  3. I am filling in the Visa Application Form Non-Im (Married) Multi Entry. Appointment in Saigon on Thursday. I haven't filled one of these out in 3 years. Here's a few questions. Current Address: Uk address or Vietnam Hotel address? Name and address of Local Guarantor: Name and address of Guarantor in Thailand: That would be spouse? Thanks in advance.
  4. What is the most convenient way to travel to either Savannakhet or Vientiane from Bangkok? I normally go to Ho Chi Minh for my 1 year multi entry (Married) Visa. The Visa costs $200 US (7500baht) which is 2500baht more than in Laos (5000baht).
  5. Thanks. I'll pay in Thai Baht. Another question... On the Visa arrival form it asks "Name and address of person to contact in Laos". Is this left blank? Since I know no one there.
  6. I have been searching to find out how much a visa on arrival to Laos is for UK people since it varies by nationality. I haven't been able to find anything official. Also do you need pay in USD? Thanks.
  7. Okay. Is there a problem showing both passports? The departure stamps in the UK... Then entering with the new Non Im "O" (Marry) Visa (multi entry) in the Australian. 2nd Question.... I got married using the Australian Passport in Thailand. Is it easy enough then using the UK Passport for the Non 'O' Marry Visa? Then I wouldn't need worry about changing Passports. Thanks
  8. I plan to exit Thailand next month on a UK passport to Laos. Then re-enter Thailand on my Australian Passport which has an exit stamp from Thailand back in March 2022. Is that possible? I thought it was until I read that.
  9. I'll apply for a 60 day visa sometime next week and see if it works since my "Permanent Residence" is in the UK. I'll post here if accepted or not.
  10. Yes that's the main issue that I would like answered. It will make getting a visa (60 Day) so much easier when already travelling and then decide to go to Thailand. Rather than hunt for an embassy ... Just get an e-visa from the country that you reside in.
  11. It is interesting that it appears no one knows the answer to this question.
