You would not be the one by any chance that actually engineered total hoax some some years ago? was it 2015? you volunteered (volunteered) information 5 years after the event ,alongside this other guy commenting on, pure envy here. You go on on other thread you do not want to "criminalize yourself" lol but you were fined 50 quid sortof lol
Since your "admission" then the wording has been changed to "disqualifying" benefit, hence does not qualify for sanctions.
Its all there, including that "fine" all on record,if I'm bothered Ill pull it up,but actually you are not worth it
Only difference between you and I sunshine,I'm many thousands in front of you lol
Disqualifying benefits
Only sanctionable benefits can be reduced or stopped. Some benefits are not sanctioned but instead called disqualifying benefits.
These include but are not limited to:
- Retirement Pension ....and so is the later version stated,no reduction of state pension Think this is the statement related too...Definitely NO punishment, stoppage reduction etc How anybody argues against a DWP legislated wording Amazing
Need my Al La cart breakfast, easily affordable on full blown pension Thank You

i really do wonder how many just never told the pension service .
and if they didnt are they worried
About what exactly? Its in their imagination and stupid comment from others the" I know someone"brigade

Feel especially sorry so that have had frozen pensions for many many years and just accept it, that guy in Cambodia especially, one of the old school, losing fantastic amounts,no word of regret,What is it ? 39 thousand lost from 2000 to 2017 from 2010/11 something like 5000 a year now ,climbing to close on 7/8 thousand, probably more in couple more years
Its the poiseness bastards, the jealous ones, spreading totally fake fearful posts that well deserve where they are . Read regulations appertaining to SP,SP stands alone from general DWP regulations

Not by a country mile, read past comments of his,"banged up" 1000 quid fines" goes on and on for years, all trash. May bring some forward for a gander

We all shortly will join the Yanks at Thanksgiving, thats those on unfrozen pensions, huge uplift coming, and those on defined pensions a lot more. Even at 10% uplift close on 1000 on max pension, defined twice that if past employment reckons, close on 3000 a year, plus 500 pounds Christmas bonus.
Could feel sorry for those losing out,but bitter and twisted they are filled with hatred, would snitch on you in a moment, but unfortunately for them SP does not allow, self snitching is a self imposed dreadful happening "STOP SELF SNITCHING" should be the byword

Another benefit is any wife or partner in Thailand could continue receiving the pension after death
Only if the wife or partner has a shovel

As this thread winds to a close,it must be a "well done" to the unfrozen, those that withstood endless barbed and pointless criticising from others who in their jealous rages put some graphic and poiseness statements ,which in turn turned out to be pure garbage
Well done, most can stride out with extra bulges in our pant pockets, spreading ,and receiving even more happiness amongst the locals, especially from massages,by way of plenty of the filthy lucre
Well done indeed,a job well done!

???????? Thank you. How about your Speckled Hen ? Any hint where this could be tasted in Thailand ? On a side note I regard Weihenstephaner Vitus to be one of the best beers available in Thailand. It is also available for sale - at least in Pattaya Central Festival (TOPS on the ground floor).

I am an American and have Medicare benefits in USA (75 yrs old). We are allowed the financial benefits in Thailand, but all the medical benefits are not available. These include all the medicines, hospitals, doctors, etc. Seems unfair to be excluded because of where you decide to live in this world.
They always took my monthly payment when I was working.
Just saying.
Across Bay of Bengal 2 hours away cheapest/finest medical care in the world

Doesn't really work when the person threatening you is the person issuing your pension payments.
It would surely be on you to take them to court to get the correct amount reinstated. In the meantime SOL.
By law the UK is required to pay pensioner appropriate amount due,no deductions on OA pension

No UK government party has changed locked pensions, including Socialists....
Basically the checkers never check, could not give a toss ,the international Pensions HQ do sod all, again could not give a toss, as for those being paid out by them (frozen pensioners) are keeping them in a cushy job . Should scrap them and all UK pensions paid into UK banks for the recipients to claim them, such as Wise, save a fortune,so too the frozen bunch, could go unfrozen in a millisecond
Actually the unfrozen should give a heads up for the frozen pensioner sacrifice as more money into the pot for divvying for the unfrozen. Thank You
Huge, but huge increase in SP this time around, not just SP but defined pensions as well, plus 500 pounds for Christmas tree, plus tenner for Christmas bonus, Thank You Father Christmas

I worked at the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) before retiring and he has been caught out lying once and you think they are going to trust him?
(it will be on his file, I assure you)
It is so easy for DWP to establish these facts and they do regularly check, ie names and addresses are cross-matched with local taxation rolls and names not paying are investigated. Other options to check are also available.
They will check more thoroughly this time and he will be caught a 2nd time, with worse ramifications.
You realise the generalised statement from the DWP Revenue would be ....Court or a voluntary fine up to 10 times the amount being cheated!
The only way around this in general, are through reciprocal agreement countries.
Up to you!
1200 posts and 600 likes, must be in your smile! You are not stating facts here concerning the State Pension. As someone who stated he worked at DWP,I have my doubts, mopping the floor maybe

Yes. Another friend (same town). He was daft enough to say that he had been in Thailand for 5 years!
Had to repay £5 per month...died before he finished the job.
This friend of yours would not have been on OAP alone, another supporting benefit he would have been on that allowed deduction Read regulations

I am UK pensioner living in Thailand. I can confirm that life certs are sent out. I missed one and only knew when my pension payments to UK bank were stopped. Phone call to DWP got a new life cert e-mailed to me. Local Dr. filled it in and I sent back to DWP. No more problems. Payment restarted and missed payments paid.
I would imagine you could use this method while pretending o live in UK and actually living in Thailand.
I believe that DWP requirement is you live more than 180 days in UK to get your annual increases.
How does DWP check where you are as you do not get an entry stamp when coming into UK?
Under the current financial climate in UK, I cannot see the rule being changed, or any support from your local MP.
DWP will know if you are using the NHS services from your local GP and might use this as way to check if you are in UK.
Grossly unfair, but we are not enough to influence government behaviour.
The way inflation is heading in UK it si becoming more worthwhile o consider cheating the system.
Nothing will change, never will, wrong on some counts, instant upgrade as soon as when you tell them, even from Thailand, don't think about too hard,no one is going to get punished
but moves afoot to combine new and old pensions, but grad pension, serps are difficult to administer
