  1. If it makes Thai people feel better, I can also have a mask around my neck. That would be no problem ???? As long as I don't have to cover my mouth or nose with it.
  2. Based on the comments from the posters, looks like they still sometimes check vax/test results at Suvarnabhumi. Sometimes they do, but most often not. Has anyone taken a train from Padang Besar to Bangkok recently? I wonder if they check the vax/test results at that station or on the train ????
  3. Were they sent for testing at Manchester, or Suvarnabhumi? I wonder what happens if, at Suvarnabhumi, you are sent for testing, but refuse to take the test. Are they going to deny entry or put you in quarantine?
  4. Except that you have to wear a face diaper in Malaysia, and probably during the entire flight to Malaysia. That's the reason I still haven't booked a flight. Have to either wear a mask to go to Malaysia and/or Vietnam or take a covid test to go to Thailand. I really don't want to do either one of those things.
  5. What happens if, after you are denied entry, you refuse to pay for the ticket back to where you just came from?
  6. In 2018, at don mueang, I was taken aside and questioned why I visit Thailand so often. The IO went thru my passport and calculated how many days I had spent in Thailand. If the information is available in their computers, why would she need my passport for that? That was 4 years ago though.
  7. I see. So instead of taking a straight flight to Thailand, I guess it's better to go to Kuala Lumpur instead, and then take another flight from there to BKK. Just in case
  8. The IO's still have that attitude today? So, I guess nothing has changed then. ???? Does anyone know what happens if, for whatever reason, they decide to deny entry, for coming to Thailand too often; do you have to go back to the same country you just came from, or can you buy a ticket to say, Malaysia or Vietnam?
  9. Thanks again. Yes, it would be BKK. I'm not gonna worry about it too much then ????
  10. Fingerprints and everything else are the same than before, only a new passport ????
  11. Thanks for the replies DrJack54 and MrJ2U. I'm currently in Finland, and was planning to take a straight flight to BKK from Finland. I have a new passport too. I'm still a little anxious over my travel history, and if they see it in their computers and how strict they are if they do. It was a slightly traumatic experience last time at Don Mueang ????
  12. Hello, I'm from Finland. A few years back (2016-2018) I went to Thailand, and did several visa runs to Malaysia and Laos. So I stayed in Asia for about 2,5 years. Then, one time at Don Mueang, they almost denied entry, took me to a separate area where I had to show them how much cash I had. They went thru my passport stamps and calculated how many days I had spent in Thailand, altogether. After about 2 hours, someone told me they can let me enter Thailand just this one more time, but that I'm somehow "marked" in their computer system and would be denied entry next time if I come back to Thailand without a visa or with just a tourist visa. They also mentioned both Don Mueang and Suvarnabhumi airports. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this? Also, if I were to go to Thailand again, and they deny entry at Suvarnabhumi, is it possible for me to choose the destination and go to Malaysia (or some other country) instead of going all the way back to Finland?
