There is nothing forcing you to mix up fresh nutes every watering. Just as in hydroponics, you can simply make a big reservoir of nutrient solution (e.g. a 55 gal drum), aerate it constantly with an air pump and keep it constantly circulating with a water pump, and just check EC/total dissoved solids and pH every day just before you water, adjusting it for evaporation (water top-offs to get to desired EC) and for pH if necessary.

ya i have a reservoir set up now and i am looking for a irrigation system. i got a tray for underneath and will be doing a drain to waste system on it soon

How much light did you give the seedling? Your plant is very short and compact

they are mostly indica (hybrids). they are typically short and bushy. usually if its an indica and its tall and stringy, that means your light is too far away or too weak.

light is a mars hydro ts1000. 150w. definately enough for these plants. ordered a new mars hydro light for flowering. 480w will arrive soon. it is over kill for my tent, but i will be putting up a scrog net and filling the tent with colas

Thanks for all the great advice! So I will get cbd oil? So this is legal in TH I understand correctly? Was not aware that edibles are not allowed for example.

How can I lay my hands on some good product ideally regularly tested and free of pesticides etc. Order online I assume, any pitfalls regarding breaking the law. Would much prefer to buy cash somewhere in Hua Hin in a reliable shop . Thanks again and as I staated a complete newbie.

Have you looked at the CBD store just outside of villa market? (Villa market in town. Not the villa market out by Index Living Mall).

It is a strictly cbd store. I'm sure they can help you

Made about 15 batches of butter in 2 years, I agree completely.  Huge variances.

ya depends on the bud, the oil you use (could be butter, could be coconut oil etc). some extract better then others. also can use ethanol alcohol (food grade). apparently extracts good but the taste will be strong alcohol taste.

also depends on your decarb method. and time in the oven. 20 degree difference or 10 minutes difference in the oven make a big difference in the thc and/or cbd converted.

also the process will lose thc in the process.

i have ate too many edibles before, and its something i never want to do again. so i am super careful now when trying new batches.

  5. looks like a PH / water problem.

a while back i tested normal bottled water and the ph was over 7. which is too high. so if you are just using bottled water or even tap water, that is probably the issue.

also tap water has many chemicals in it, so if you use it set it outside (out of the sun) for a day or 2 to let the chlorine evaporate out.

get a ph pen on shopee (also get an ec pen so you can check the ppm of the water you feed it). also buy some ph up and down. these are must haves for growing weed.

coco is a good way to go, but also a proper soil mix is good for beginners as well.

the soil looks pretty compact. roots could have being having trouble growing.

    EDIT:

the feeding on a daily basis is for coco mixes. in soil (especially when seedlings), you dont need to water every day. i used to water every 3-4 days in soil.

I am not saying that some strains are not more expensive to produce. I am stating that the current prices don't have much to do with the production cost. It's more to do with what the market can bear.

Many just trying to make a fast buck whilst the 'Gold Rush' is on.

Yes price now is high just because they can.

Production cost isn't as high as other are implying either.

Even for a relatively small indoor grow, you can grow your own premium bud with costs of less then 50 baht/gram when all is done. This includes the power bill, nutes and all. If you are growing and it costed you 200 baht per gram you grow, you have no idea what you are doing lol.

I personally think that in 6 months to a year, it will be hard for people to sell weed at 350+ per gram (except on tourist areas I guess) because production cost really isn't high, and the imported weed from Canada/USA is extremely cheap for premium bud.
