  1. KLM are a good airline to book with for visa application purposes. As if you need to show a flight to Thailand from your home country but are staying in a neighbouring country for some time first such as Vietnam or Malaysia. The embassy wants to see a flight from your home country. With both KLM and Finnair you can pay a bit more for a fully refundable ticket. So its a good way to get the flight ticket to apply for your visa when you are unclear with when you will actually come to Thailand. You can ask for the ticket to be refunded on the website and ive always got the refund processed within a few days with no fees involved. So ive always got the same amount back that i paid for the ticket when its been cancelled.

  4. Hi, I have a ticket with klm airlines to Bangkok. For the ticket klm just sent me the travel itenery with booking reference in an email. The problem is there is no file such as a pdf file for example. I need to upload the flight ticket to apply for the visa. Since there is no file then I can not upload anything. Asking tips or technical advise on how I can make the flight information I was given by klm in my email into a file so I can upload for the visa application?
  5. Was on 2 STV visas (special tourist visa) 2 years running during covid so was able to stay for 18 months for 2 years during that with a 2 month gap in between. Then last time I was on a multiple entry tourist visa for 6 months then 4 months in the Uk. Now planning to come back in on another multiple entry tourist visa after a 4 month gap.
  6. Hi, I seen a few different companies offering Vip Fast track immigration service for around $35 or so. I have had multiple tourist visas over a few year period and sometimes people have problems at Bangkok airport due to extensive visa history. Ive never overstayed in Thailand and have always got in on arrival. That said there is always the uncertainty even with a tourist visa if my entry will go smooth on arrival at immigration due to lots of tourist visa entries. My question is would the Vip fast track service be more likely to be hassle free from immigration even if you had lots of tourist entries in the past. I dont really care about saving time by using the fast track service im just wondering if by using this are you more likely to get in hassle free rather than immigration looking at all the tourist visas i have had over the years. Or perhaps it makes no difference therefore the fast track service would be a waste of money?
  7. Hi, Can anyone advise of their favourite youtube channells to learn Thai? Thank you
  8. Hi, I obtained a multiple entry tourist visa through the thai embassy in London last November 2022 and entered same month. I did a 1 day border run to reenter with my metv in Feburary then stayed in thailand for a further 3 months. So essentially 6 months spent in Thailand between November and may. In may i went back to the UK and im planning to go back to Thailand in October. My question is if i applied for another multiple entry tourist visa from thai the embassy in London in October what is the likelihood of them approving another metv for me considering its been 5 months since i exited Thailand? Or would i be safer just applying for a tourist visa instead of metv then doing another border run? Thoughts appreciated
  9. I’m currently on a multiple entry tourist visa. I will be going to Laos via the Nong khai land border. I already have the visa to renter as I’m on a multiple entry tourist visa. My question is will I need to spend 1 night overnight in Laos or can I just simply cross into Laos pay for the Laos visa and come back straight across the border into Thailand again on the same day? Thanks
  10. I see thank you. Am I correct in saying that the exit stamp is required to show when going entering through land border but not through airport?
  11. Hi, I have a question regarding entering Thailand using different passports. If I was to fly from the UK to Indonesia using my Uk passport would it then be possible to fly from Indonesia to Thailand on my Irish Passport? Would this cause a problem as I am not sure if I need to show the exit stamp when I arrive in Bangkok from Indonesia? Hopefully some experienced members in here would be able to help. Many Thanks
