Thanks for the replies. Chiang Mai has a few organic markets, I was mainly hoping there might be something like that in Chiang Rai. It's not just a question of pesticides, it's the quality of the produce. I eat plant-based food and need good quality. I speak from experience of living in places with rubbish produce lacking nutrition. It's a deal breaker for me, unfortunately.

Are there any organic fruit and veg markets in Chiang Rai? Thanks!
