I contracted Parkinson's disease which is incurable and it is costing me almost 8,000 baht per month for medication. Each hospital appointment is a 1000 baht fee, for a four minute appointment. Incidentally, medication does not stop the symptoms, it only helps to control it. Eventually, I shall die with the disease because it cannot kill a person, it merely makes your life a living hell.

What exactly do you mean when you use the word 'CONVO' this is a word I am not familiar with? It's typical of Thai government policy! They make the system as messy as they can in order to keep the foreigners confused. I have lived in Thailand for the past 21 years with my Thai wife, but I have never been able to understand the system here. When my wife and I lived in the UK; for 5 years, we both understood the do's and don'ts of the system, and we never had any trouble in living there. The only problem with living in the UK was that it was so very expensive we couldn't stay there.
