When you do the affirmation in the Embassy you are meant to tell them if you have been married before and if you have then you must show the divorce certificate, this wasn't done they just said that they had never been married before

If some when they done the affirmation of freedom to marry said that they were single when they are divorced, would the marriage still be legal?

My mother in law is currently in the UK on a tourist visa, she is planning on coming to the UK again next year, She came to the UK on the 15/03/24 and will leave on the 15/08/24 what would be the earlist date next year she would be able to come back to the UK. Thank you for any help.

Hello My niece would like to visit the UK next year with her grandmother, do you do the visa application in the same way as you would for an adult? Her grandmonther has visted the UK about 6 times now and there has never been any issue in getting her a visa my niece will be 10 years old at the time. Does she need any letters from her parents confirming that she is allowed to leave Thailand with her grandmother? any advice would be most welcome. Thank you

The only maybe advantage for the child would be if they where to stay in Thailand, if they wanted to work in another country it would be of far greater adavntage to do a degree in the UK as it is accepted in nearly every country in the world compared to a Thai degree where only a few unis are recognised world wide.
