I supplied Thai Marriage license & Thai driver's license as well as passport with 1 year marriage Visa. They showed me a form that says they now require an additional Home country ID of a Driver's license or National ID. USA doesn't have National ID but they do have a New Real Me ID issued at DMV. Both require a personal visit to my home state DMV office No online applications. Sad!

Sadly, I just returned from Kasikorn without a new account, because I do not have the 3rd piece of ID they require (new 2025). They need a National ID card, or Driver;s license. America doesn't have the ID card & my DL expired 2 years ago & I can't renew online in my state! Looks like I'll have ti find another bank so I can get away from Bangkok Bank & their *^% funds freezing for 4-6 months

I was wondering about this as BK Bank locked my funds and when I asked them they said it was 4 months= 60 days before & 60 days after, but they could not clarify "before & after"! Tomorrow I will go to get my renewed Visa at immigration. Will I be able to retrieve my funds when I go to the bank if I show them my Visa? I will try & if successful I will update this. If anyone has done this yet, please let me know. Thanks

I live in Surin Province and in the past when I did my Non O ME 90 day border run and returned home all was fine. In April, this year, I did my usual run and 1 week later Immig. came to my home and I had to pay a 2,000 Baht fine for not Re-reporting my TM30 Address verification. They said I have 24 or 48 hours to go to the local Immig. office and report with my wife! I have been living at my home for over 5 years. Now, when I do my 90 day run I must stop and file my TM 30, which means I can't do a border run on weekends or Holidays. Sucks!

My 90 day Non O ME expires 4 March. I am going to change to a regular Non O because of the Savannakhet requirements, but I forget how many days before the old Visa expires that I can start the new Visa process. 30, 45, 60 days?
