Hi all) I found a refurbished macbook at a good price in Amazon (USA) and plan to order it from Thailand. It can't be shipped directly, so I need to find some someone or proxy shipping company for this. Perhaps someone is planning a trip from the US to Thailand (ideally Koh Samui). Or knows who is planning such a trip. I'm ready to pay a 200$ as well as fresh fruit in addition for a shiping a macbook. In addition, I can help with travel / accommodation / island advices (I have been here for a year). Now I'm looking for some agency/shipping company, but shipping through someone is more reliable as for my opinion. The question will be relevant within 2-4 weeks. In general laptop is duty free, but there is a 7% Value Added Tax. So in right way it need to be +7% to a price of used (refurbished) macbook. But I am very worried about sending an expensive laptop through this FB shipping companys. Is there anyone who uses the services of such/similar agency? Maybe someone can ask Thai people about this shipping compamies? If someone has experience of sending a laptop to Thailand from the USA, please, share your experience. What service did you use and how much did it cost? I would be very happy to know more about this.
