But he is not a normal prisoner.

I really wonder what people think, that a former PM and billionaire is treated like a crackhead selling heroin? Only in 3rd world countries like the US.

Being a real man doesn't mean feminist. Small men call other real mean feminists, when all they want is to protect vulnerable people away from scumbags. Do you know any real men with good values? Is a real man who think 16 year old girls is to young? Having emphasize and empathy with girls who step wrong, have nothing to do with being woke, feminist or weak.

Weak men have an tendency to go after easy pray, because they have no balls to manage anything else.

I am currently in Eastern Europe and go to the gym daily and everywhere 13, 14, 15, 16 year old girls in tight leggings and pushup bras, some have transparent leggings and show literally(!) everything. Sometimes I think about calling the police because I feel molested and assaulted because their sexuality is forced upon me as normal male and I wish those girls would be somehow punished by society, but reality in nowadays society is, there are men like you who would defend those girls behaving like sluts and would call any man who looks at them a "pervert". It's like reality is turned upside down.

I let your post speak for itself, and the one who appreciated your post anonymously.

Not surprised after many years in Thailand, where I have met Same minded men as you, who in my opinion is frankly shallow, but here they can play out their role as womanizers without any risks. Almost without any risks.

I have read a lot of those new type of feminist men who defend sluts behaving like sluts and who think it's better for young girls o to sleep with 100s of men and make an onlyfans instead of marrying young and getting children. Your opinion might be currently supported by the majority in Western countries - but a shift against the Judeo-Western influence over society is growing already. So, don't be so smug!

You would be an immature individual being 25 and hanging around 16 years old girls. Where the fine line goes, I'm not sure, but I would say around 21, 16 years old girls is far behind as maturity goes.

"Rednecks" and pervs really do not care though ????

Enough of the biology denying. Men are attracted to signs of female fertility and not how educated she is, regardless of how you want to call it. And for morality, something which was considered the right thing 50 years ago (ie. a 30 yo marrying a 16 yo) is just recently being pushed down our throats as "morally wrong" - this is why all the indoctrinated showing up and talking about some delusional thing that a 16 yo girl doesn't know what a penis is. If anybody in this case should be punished it's actually her.

Has anyone looked into what this guy's story is?

With zero inside information, it looks like it may have been some kind of TikTok challenge that went viral.  And when it did, his only defense against getting canned was to claim the protected status of being a trans individual with a "condition".

But that's just a WAG on my part.  Anyone here really know?

Yes, he's a normal guy calling out that it's not possible to trans-siberian-railway into another gender.

If you had read the thread Visas and many other issues at that time were covered. It was a very long thread dealing with many aspects of Thailand and the Philippines.

Nobody is talking about ' we expats in Thailand are better ' as you are suggesting, this is based on mine and other posters extensive travels throughout South East Asia and covering the good and bad points of all the countries that we visited.

It did used to be far e3asier for under 50s to stay in Thailand but for various reasons, those days are gone.

Stop looking for friction where there isn't any and going on the defense when somebody offers up a different point of view.

Don't get so defensive about your great comparison thread. All threads about Thailand vs. Philippines always end up with the majority here on this forum of Thailand expats telling how better they are than the poor sods living in the Philippines.

I have lived in Thailand for 10 years and 1 year in the Philippines, I value my opinion much more than some randoms having lived a few months in Thailand and none in the Philippines while telling me how bad everything there is, not meaning you personally, however have you lived in the Philippines?

I did a very popular thread on this a few years ago now on Thai Visa forum and the overwhelming opinion was, with the exception of English speaking women, nothing much else to go for. Also, plenty of scams from the women there as well as Thailand, they just do it in a different way.

There was the odd poster who liked it in the Philippines but they were very much in the minority.

Far more unpredictable and volatile than Thailand.

Complaints included terrible food, expensive to rent very basic accommodation, utilities expensive, bad living conditions and rampant poverty, too many guns with people more than prepared to use them.Guards with machine guns and metal detectors at shopping malls. They also said you must remain very vigilant.

Many of these countries such as Philippines and Cambodia get people that cannot afford the rules and regulations to stay in Thailand.

I rent a house to a Filipina lady working in Thailand, she does not have a very high opinion of the place but loves her family of course. She doesn't run the place down, it's more a case of what she doesn't say.

I have never inquired much other than passing pleasantries but she just says he is happier working here.

For great local food, fruit and vegetables, you will be hard pressed to beat Thailand in this region.

How much is such a "popular opinion thread" worth if it's not even looking at the visa situation? And then the anecdotes over and over and never forget the "we expats in Thailand are better" bit. Everybody needs to see and compare it for himself.

i am worreid about the fruit vailability...i went to fruit markets in thailand daily for fresh mango, oranges, coconuts....if this would be lacking...there would be a problem....is it because it is an island so it is harder to imporr fruit?

Also they Phillipines are much more expensive if electiricity is so expensive....

is 1000 usd enough to live a good life?

i always went to thailand, never anywhere else.....the women are beautiful in majority, thin, easy to pickup...but in phillipines i see they are mostly chubby and less attractive? That could be another problem....I would go to thailand still if there would not be so many tourists and visa requirements with border runs etc...

You need to go there for yourself, $1000 will be enough. More than in Thailand. If you are from the EU, everything will be cheaper except western food. Also, in reality, you cant stay in Thailand for long anyway because of the <deleted>ty visas for under 50's.

If you are worried about the fruit, most of it comes from China anyway (except maybe pineapples) and they export it to the Philippines as well and it will be available to buy.

Are you sure EU residents are getting 59 days on arrival? It's 30 from my experience and then can easily get extended another 30 after that. One can get a tourist visa to the Phils at a Phils embassy and that is 59 days. Visa on arrival is 30 days.

The law is not in effect yet, but yes it has been changed to 59 days on arrival instead of 30 days. It will come in effect probably in October or November.
