  1. I’m trying to get an education, visa in pattaya. I messaged with the Jomtien/Pattaya language school and they told me I need to pay 30,000 baht 28-30 days before my current tourist visa finishes. And then 5000 baht 3 times, every 90 days. I thought ed visas took longer than 30 days to process. Am I wrong? is this place a scam? How can I find out if it’s legitimate? Here’s the link to their website: https://sites.google.com/view/pattayajomtien/home Any other advice on this is greatly appreciated. my tourist visa is finishing on April 9. so I was going to go get my visa extension on that day and then go to the school after that or the next day. It’s now march 29. can I really do this and have a visa for a year?
  2. I’ve done that before but, the problem is I don’t know exactly when they will be viewing my application, so it’s better to buy an actual ticket for this time. Thank you for the suggestion
  3. 2 QUESTIONS. I need a ticket that is preferably refundable (but not totally necessary) going to Cambodia, Malaysia or Laos, so I can submit it to my Thailand E Visa today. Does anybody know an airline I can buy from that will issue my tickets in pdf format the same day that I buy them? I have to submit it today. And I got my PDF booking confirmations for my flights to Thailand. Which PDF am I supposed to submit to the visa website is it the one that says “itinerary” pdf , or the one that says” E ticket pdf?” I tried buying from Malaysia air but they are having trouble with their website I’ve been two days I even called them and tried to book them on the phone and they said they can only send me a link to make a purchase with the link, and that link anytime that I use it. So I have to find some other airline ASAP. Can somebody please help me? the reason it doesn’t matter whew or who it is because at this point I just need to find something cheap to prove onward travel because it’s the very last day that I can safely apply and ensure that I’ll get my visa in the time that I need. What about thai vietjet or Thai airways or something? Anybody have experience? click the picture thank you!
  4. I will try to do this. Does it need to all fit on one page. Or can they actually open multiple page pdf’s on their end? Or should I stitch them all into one page? I feel that would lose quality and make it blurry when they zoomed in. I know they are sticklers for clearly seen good quality images and files.
  5. Sorry i see that you quoted just that part of my message. Thanks, Have you done it before ?
  6. Are you saying, yes, I can put only the Korea to Bangkok ticket on the application? Are you sure? Everyone on here seems to be saying something different, so far. Or are you saying yes to my idea to try to edit the ticket to include the other travel info.. or yes to both?
  7. Yes I have 3 different flight tickets that I bought grouped together in an app. I can only upload 1 of them onto the visa website. Not sure what to do. The only one showing I’m arriving to bkk is the last ticket which shows my layover in Korea to bkk.
  8. I’m an American applying for my E-visa online on thaievisa.go.th The third party app that I bought my plane tickets from are issuing my tickets as 3 tickets. From America: Tx to LA and then LA to Korea, then Korea to BKK. I can only upload 1 ticket to the visa application right? But it will only show Korea to BKK… but, all of my other information on the application says that I'm coming from America. Do you think it's ok that I only upload only my 3rd and last ticket, which is Korea to BKK? Will that confuse them or cause problems? If no one else has any other ideas… I thought of an idea to maybe help the situation. Do you think I should actually write on my ticket that this is the 3rd ticket of 3 and put the other departures on it so they don't get confused? Though.. it might be in pdf format which I’m not sure I can edit… any help is much appreciated!!!! Thank you. So much!! (side question.. does anybody know how to get your tickets faster from trip.com? I buy from them all the time, but this time they said it might take 4 or 5 days and km running short on time to get applied for my visa.)
  9. After listening to everybody, I have decided to go straight to Laos. I just don’t have a good feeling about Poipet. And my good friend said I could get a visa in Vientiane. Do you have any advice on going about this? Do I need to stay in Laos for a specific It minimum amount of time, considering my last 2 entry stamps were from the exact same border? He said if I get the visa, I’ll be able to come back across the same bridge to nong khai, as well.
  10. I could fly from Cambodia to Laos to go to my appointment, right?
  11. What if I went to Laos from Cambodia. Can I enter by land a 3rd time, this time with a visa? And would adding Cambodia in between my stops give me a better chance of getting back in through Laos? Or does it not matter?
  12. You are correct about the first entry. Many people are telling me to go to Laos instead. I thought going to Laos again would look suspicious. So I made some arrangements with someone in PP. is the best option really to go to Laos again and enter by land again, this time with an actual visa?
  13. Hey everybody! I’ve gone from Thailand to Vientiane, Laos 2 times and entered 2 times by land on visa exempt status, with extensions through immigration both times. I still have stuff I need to take care of here, but my current stamp expires this month on the 18th, in a few days. This time I’m near the Poipet border of Cambodia. I need to get a tourist visa. Can anybody give me advice on what to do to ensure I can get back in on a tourist visa? This will be my first actual visa, considering I have come in only visa exempt the other times, so I shouldn’t have any trouble right? I am so near Poipet and have a friend there who agreed to host me, so I can save money just taking a bus over there real quick instead of flying somewhere and getting a hotel. But, I don’t know what to do from there. Actually, I’m not sure if Cambodia is the right choice. And I don’t know if I’ll be able to come back over by land there, or if I should fly back in to make it more legitimate for this time around. I’ve also been told to just go back to Laos, but that would be 3 times at that border, albeit, hopefully I’ll have a legit visa this time. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also, my girlfriend is freaking out, thinking that I won’t be able to get back in anytime soon, but, somebody told me that it’s doable. Please help. What’s my best course of action? Can I get back in? Thanks
  14. Hi everybody! I really need some advice! I have been in Thailand for 4 months. I had my initial entry from America by plane. and since then, I have gotten a 30 day extension at immigration, I’ve gone on a visa run to Laos and I have gotten another 30 day extension after that. Now, during this time, I have been offered a job in Japan and I have to fly out of Bangkok with a team to Japan this month on July 29. But, my current Thailand, visa exempt stamp expires on July 22. What do you think I should do? I was told by some friends that I still have one more visa exempt land entry left for this year and that I should just go to Laos and do exactly what I did last time. Is it true that I can do this another time? I absolutely have to get back into Thailand so I can fly out 7 days later to my new job. I have put almost all of my money into this trip and job so it’s so important I make this flight. Can anybody confirm that I can do a second visa run and enter again as visa exempt? Please help! Also, as a side note. I was thinking I could just overstay 7 days and just pay the overstay fees to guarantee I can make my flight. I’m required to fly with these people to Japan. But I was advised against doing an overstay for some potential negative consequences. Will I be ok going on another quick visa run to Laos?
