  1. Excuse me, but how in the world did someone steal that much money from her? Was it sitting on a table? Was it in a drawer? Is she sure groceries are all she was selling there?
  2. "Stimulate the economy" translated means the liquor and nightclub lobbies are paying the politicians off to pass these laws. It won't stimulate the economy. It will stimulate crime and carnage.
  3. Great visual in the description. Would love to see the video.
  4. They really need to stop translating these in Google translate, lol
  5. I'm sure the ladyboys on Beach Road in Pattaya are thrilled about this visa exemption. More gold to steal...
  6. It will create all kinds of issues, all because of greed. More muggings, more murders, more accidents, etc. Nothing good happens when you mix alcohol and those late hours.
  7. Is this really something that should be a focal point for the police? These should be legal. They are being used everywhere anyway. I'm not a smoker, but they are less harmful than smoking cigarettes. There are so many other things the police should be doing. There is a ton of crime hiding in plain sight. Do your job!
  8. What a joke. It's the wild wild west out there. Instruct the police to do their jobs, hand out tickets and while you're at it, give out a few parking tickets as well. Pattaya for one is a freaking mess.
  9. What's funny is they openly sell ketamine on the beach in Jomtien alongside the road. There are multiple cars and motorbikes there with people selling it. The police really need to do a better job of policing the beach in the late night and early morning hours. All these kids are high as a kite on drugs, driving their motorbikes at unsafe speeds and causing a hazard by double and triple parking on the road.
  10. That's horrific. This mother should be jailed.
  11. First of all, electrocuted and death is redundant. Electrocuted means you died, lol Second, one of the last Darwin winners of 2023.
  12. Here's the real link to the story: https://www.thaipbsworld.com/pattaya-police-explain-alleged-bribery-in-child-prostitution-case/ And we all know that if someone has posted bond, there's no way they would get out of the country legally. I guess it's possible the guy took a van across the border and left from another country, but it's highly doubtful. If I'm not mistaken there are exit stations at the border too and his passport would have been checked.
  13. That doesn't "explain it" and the link to Thai PBS is bad. I don't see anyone denying it.
  14. How stupid. But this country continually shoots itself in the foot.
  15. Who in their right mind walks around with that much money. And then he takes the bus? Hey dude, I think you can afford to take a Bolt.
  16. Good thing. He certainly can't afford it. Pooooooor billionaire!
  17. All the Thai police care about is grabbing headlines. It sure has nothing to do about stopping crime.
  18. All of a sudden this site has virtually no speed. I have a gig down connection and sometimes it takes 30 seconds for a page to load. I've emailed support, but they don't reply. I did a site speed test and got this: https://gtmetrix.com/reports/aseannow.com/f2A74By6/ You'd think they'd address such a horrific issue.
