  1. "having caused some inconvenience"? Are these guys putting me on? It's holy hell to drive around this town. I just can't stand it. They have construction at 2 major intersections back to back, making it so you have to drive all over hell and back to get anywhere. And I'm writing this down. March. If the construction is done I'll eat my hat.
  2. Well this article tells you a lot...not. No details.
  3. I'm not surprised. All the food here is laced with high amounts of salt and sugar. And US fast food chains have taken over. KFC, Krispy Kreme, McDonalds, Burger King, you name it. You never saw fat Thai people a couple of decades ago. Now there are many, including many fat kids.
  4. Boy they really must have cherry picked these responses. I live in Pattaya and I'm very much against any foreign police force, especially China, being here in Thailand. It's a horrible idea. Glad they sh*t canned it.
  5. First, put smog controls on cars and trucks. Second, punish violators with polluting vehicles. Third, get the worst ones off the roads altogether.
  6. This country is getting a little too chummy with China. This and talk of Chinese police patroling in Thailand? All a bit much I'd say. Tell em to stick it.
  7. Yes, I'm sure he was "exploring", lol
  8. I could have gone all day without seeing the guy's bum...
  9. Is that as opposed to not fatally electrocuted?
  10. This is so funny. First, I didn't know crime had a high season, lol Second, ISN'T THAT YOUR JOB??? Based on what I can see (or don't see) the Pattaya Police do nothing except write an occasional ticket. There is a morning party on Jomtien Beach where every law in the book is broken: smoking, drinking, drugs, you name it. All in the open. Food vendors block the street, causing a safety hazard, as do cars that are double parked. And one cop car runs slowly up and down the beach with its lights flashing, doing nothing. So if you're going to "crack down," make Jomtien Beach safe. Of course, "crack down" on criminals and criminal gangs. I thought that was in your job description.
  11. The morale of the story is, don't piss off a Thai woman...
  12. So you're the police, and you're "cracking down" on illegality? Isn't that your original job description?
  13. What a joke. We all know he's at home with his family.
  14. Bad things start to happen later at night. It only makes good sense. I know the club and booze lobbies are strong, but people don't want the crime or the drunk driving this causes.
  15. These guys just crack me up. So now we're going to go after criminals, eh? As opposed to...not going after criminals???
  16. Wait. Let me get back off the floor from laughing first, lol
  17. That's just wrong. The guy should go to Bangkok and get a new passport.
