I agree it's not the same as before covid, but you are overlooking the fact that China's middle class continues to grow, as has their disposable income after being locked in their slave box apartments for three years. I have been fortunate to have met some Chinese tourists in CM and spoken with them, sometimes at great length about the last three years. Quite shocked by what I have learned and some of the video footage, not least that the CCP gave in to covid restrictions because people finally pushed back - nothing to do with health. They also mentioned the huge pent up demand for foreign travel and Thailand is their favorite escape by a long way.

WHO's main concern is that funding from Big Pharma is drying up. This organization has no credibility whatsoever. The biggest positive takeaway from the last few years is that more people around the world have woken up to the real ambitions of these three letter organizations. Their priority is population and energy use reduction, by whatever means. They don't even try and hide this anymore.

These visa rules for Chinese travelers are not made by TAT or the Government here. This is from Beijing. They don't want to make it easy for the Chinese people to travel anywhere abroad. The golden days of mass Chinese tourism to this country are over. While I would never support the CCP, these rules do make life here a lot more pleasant for the rest of us.

I have never worn a mask anywhere, including Thailand. I carried a false exemption for any flights I took. I never took one test or any experimental medicine either, but have traveled extensively since 2020, just as before. I bet this will really piss off the woke mob.
