Will I get problems when entering Thailand by plane next time?
Use a safe entry agent if you feel like you may be denied entry. 4-5k baht but peace of mind. Out of the airport in 5 minutes as well. Good luck

Opening a bank account without a long term visa
Good to know, thank you. Their real estate agent also talked about the possibility to open an escrow account for the purpose of the transaction. Didn't know it was possible.

Opening a bank account without a long term visa
She is actually 71. Yes, she is looking at a place where she will be less taxed than her home country. But done legally. I agree investing here, especially now, doesn't make much sense. Her son really likes Thailand. I guess he is the motivational factor. Anyway, she seems to just want to send the money and have the son manage her investment. I told them already that she should come here and apply for a retirement visa. Thank you for your answer anyway.

Opening a bank account without a long term visa
Thank you. Using an agent will be the preferred choice then, just afraid the account will get frozen in the future if opened in a dodgy way

Opening a bank account without a long term visa
I understand the skepticism. She is an independent accountant in Europe and it makes sense to her in terms of taxation and she considers Bangkok to be a good choice for investing. I won't judge if it is a reasonable choice or not.

Opening a bank account without a long term visa
Hi all, I know it must have been asked frequently. An acquaintance of mine is planning to buy 1-2 condos in Bangkok. She doesn't have any kind of visa for Thailand at the moment. Can she open a bank account without having either a retirement, work permit, marriage or Privilege visa? Thank you in advance, any detail would be appreciated.

Thailand to Tax All Online Shopping Imports Starting 2026
So, I can sense something coming. All Chinese products will cost 1 baht with higher shipping cost. There is always a loophole people will exploit. If not that, something else

Elite Visa appointment suddenly cancelled
This is a massive mess up from Elite. You got approved, paid, and now waiting in limbo while your permit of stay expires soon. I would personally make a big deal. I understand why you don't, you still want your visa and probably don't want to start on the wrong foot with them. Hope it gets resolved soon.

Thai Developer Buys 500 Passenger eVTOL Aircraft
It definitely can. But as you know, things can go wrong. One crash and the company's reputation goes down just like that. It's just a bold and risky investment in my eyes.

Thai Developer Buys 500 Passenger eVTOL Aircraft
I was thinking the same thing. It seems like they are gambling a huge chunk of money on a risky new product. Make or break type of situation

Tax Break Bonanza: Thais to Benefit from New Foreign Income Rule
It will pressure Thais to rapatriate their money within the next 2 years. I think it is a smart move. The fact that it remains unclear about foreigners sucks obviously and I hope they will extend the same courtesy to us.

90 days report and reentry permit questions
Thank you for all the details and even checking appointments for me! He is invited to stay in Bali, not his choice. I would also choose Vietnam personally 😉 Will control that his passport is in good condition, thank you for the tip. Tried to register them online for the 90 days report. Status is pending. Not sure it can work as it was due on June 2nd. Let's see

90 days report and reentry permit questions
Thank you so much for all these details. You answered everything I needed. For the reentry permit, the person is 17 years old and will travel alone to Bali next month. Better have it done beforehand to avoid mistakes at the airport even though will be long tomorrow at CW.

90 days report and reentry permit questions
Hi guys, I will bring my friend's sons to immigration tomorrow at CW. I have a few questions to make sure I am up to date: - 90 days report can still be done by representatives? - 90 days report requires the person's passport and a filled and signed TM47 form only? - can still be done up to 7 days afterwards? Was due on June 2nd. -Single Reentry permit still costs 1,000 Baht? - Reentry permit requires just the passport and the person who owns the passport? - Do I need to worry about TM30? They recently got their visa extensions (students), have already been registered with TM30 in the past and never changed addresses nor went abroad since then. Thank you so much in advance 🙏

I have booked flight for DMK only to realize afterwards how picky immigration became lately
Well, too bad then. Good luck

I have booked flight for DMK only to realize afterwards how picky immigration became lately
As someone who has used safe entry services at both DMK and BKK airports, I confirm it is the best solution. No hassle, worry free and out of the airport within minutes. Cheaper than changing to a new flight and airport too.
