Hello Folks, I am US Citizen and shareholder of Thai company which is 10 year old doing import-export consulting. Company has 3 shareholders, My wife (Thai) who holds dual citizenship Thai and American and my Father-in-law (Thai Citizen). I have 49% and my wife 50% and Father-in-law 1%
Company owns 1 condo in Bangkok and I also own 1 condo in Bangkok. Capital of company is 6 Million THB.
I have plan to buy a land in Chiangmai under company name which is 5.5 Million THB and build the home in next 2 years for me and my wife..
If i buy under company name, Do i need to face any challenges when transfer the land at land title office ? Should i retain a lawyer to do this job ? What other precautions i need to take to protect my share ?
