  1. The Philippines welcomes expats and retirees with open arms and wallets. Better English speakers, better beer and no offshore income Tax.
  2. Totally culturaly insensitive....so typical Thai.
  3. Hey, its the Peoples Republic of China and they always, always tell the true. They never deflect accusations of only doing things to their own advantage, to the detriment and suffering of other. So you have to believe them 🤣😅😂
  4. Philippines is better and cheaper choice plus if your bothered about security Davao City is consider the one of the safestest in SE Asia (if you behave yourself 9.
  5. Its like the cheap ' Chinese Silk' shirt you can sometimes find, has a Made in Thailand label on the inside of the collar, but the waah tage says made in china
  6. I remember a similar complaint in Nigeria by some 'politicians' who said China should stop selling cheap crap to Nigeria, to which the Chinese Embassador said 'China can produce very high quality goods, its just Nigeria won't pay for them!'
  7. Your spot on there. My (Afro) American buddy was there 6 months and he said he would never go back. Not only did parents snatched up their children whenever he was exploring an none tourist area in 'fear', he could speak passable Korea after 6 weeks but quit trying because (in his own words) 'they reacted like they were dealing a talking dog!'. I've also had observed how some South Koreans on weekend 'fun breaks' in Angelas City treat the bar girls, they slapped them around. I'm happy to say the locals sorted them out in the nexr alleyway once they had settled their bar bills.
  8. Yes, are ferangs constantly being told if they don't like being treated as second class subhumans in Thailand, then don't come to the Land of Smiles? Don't go crying when the shoe is on the other foot!
  9. Wow...how is this news. Obviously this guy has been in Thailand for less than 10 mins and never been anywhere else! Plus its not like his name is Tom Smith so good on him.
  10. Also a lott of Filipino trans are attracted to Thailand due to a combination of cheap plastic surgery and freely available hormones. Punters are just a plus.
  11. Such as all those Indians try to sell sunglasses and fake watches in BKK
  12. Drive apparently lied to him say Grab was illegal in Thailand. I've had similar cab drivers says same thing to me at Both BKK airports... while waiting for my Grab!
  13. Key point here is the passenger is 'returning to Thailand' if they were stating in Australia or flying on elsewhere then Thai Airways could go whistle dixy! No Australia or western courts would except the suit. But Thailand's Draconian liable/slander laws allow this kind of free speech suppression. Customer knows they are in trouble once they get home! Thailand....land of litigation!
  14. Thailand.... land of no sense of humour, irony or ability to see joke if it's right in front of them.
  15. Interesting isn't it... Chinese tourist gets shot, BiB and Govt are all over it. Western tourist gets murdered, violently assaulted, sexual assault...it's threaten/intimidated the victim into not pressing charges, not reporting offence or demanding justice so BiB cand just pretend it never happened! Guess we're not real people I'm their eyes?
