  1. IOs hold a lot of power over you which is why the trips to immigration are way more stressful than trips to the DLT for example.
  2. I'm going to get a visa extension at Chaeng Wattana soon I came across this official list of requirements: It doesn't say anything about the Khor Ror 2 needing to be up to date. Should I still go to an Amphoe to get it updated? If yes, can I go there by myself or does my wife need to be present? Cheers
  3. Thank you guys. Any advice on how long this could take? I have the appointment for the visa extension in the early afternoon. I was thinking of arriving at CW early in the morning to sort out the 90 day report issue. Would that be enough time?
  4. I just found this: At the bottom of the page it says that the spouse has to be present. Mods feel free to close the thread. My apologies
  5. I have an appointment this week to go to Chaeng Wattana for a visa extension based on marriage. In the past I would always go with my wife but is that actually necessary? I browsed through a ton of threads regarding the document requirements but I don't see any stating that the spouse needs to be present. My wife is busy with work and she'd rather avoid what is a rather unpleasant trip. Also I get ratherannoyed by the IOs who refuse to speak English with me (even though they can) and only talk to my wife who has to translate back to me.
  6. Thank you I'm struggling to find any information on doing a 90 day report at CW. I have only done one in person so far at the Muang Thong Thani temporary center, which was very easy and quick. How is it at CW? Are there long queues? My appointment for the visa extension is in the early afternoon. Should I come early in the morning to sort out the 90 day report?
  7. Do you know if the same IO that handles the visa extension can also take care of the fine?
  8. (Apologies if this has been asked before, but I couldn't find any conclusive answers by searching through all threads) I have an appointment next week at Chaeng Wattana to do another 1 year visa extension based on marriage. The problem is that I missed doing a 90 day report this year (I have been traveling a lot in and out of the country and I didn't realized that I stayed more than 90 days at some point). From what I've read I have to expect a 2000 Baht fine (although I've also seen some people claim it could be up to 5000 Baht). Anyway, that's what I get for my carelessness. My question is: Can I sort out the 90 report fine at the same time as I do my visa extension? Or would it be better if I go to CW earlier to sort it out so that everything goes smoothly for the marriage extension. Needless to say, I'd rather avoid two trips to CW so if possible, I'd prefer the first option. Any advice?
