Hi, I have a couple questions about proof of accommodation in Thailand. I am from the USA, applying for a tourist visa online, and not sure where I will be staying while I am in Phuket. I figured I would rent a place for a week before I travel, and then see where I wanted to stay for longer while I was there and book it in person. I will probably stay outside of Phuket as well for a couple of weeks, but will have to wait till I am there to figure it out. The online application is requesting proof of accommodation. My questions are:
1. Do I need to show them proof of accommodation for the entire 60 days I will be there?
2. Can I book a place for a week or two, and tell them I plan on visiting other areas and hotels, but do not currently have that information?
3. If I choose Recreation learning (muay thai) as my reason for visit, do I have to provide proof from the gym I will be training at?
Basically would like to know the best way to provide proof of accommodation, without having to commit to the same hotel for my entire stay.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
