    Weren't you young once? Sour old dudes always complain about everything. Khao San is lovely, a real travel hub with a lot of bars and pretty girls from around the world. I loved it when I was in my 30's, a couple decades ago.

    We are half way through November and there is still a lot of plastic on the beaches on the Andaman side. I don't see authorities cleaning the beaches, correct me when wrong. I don't understand the first paragraph. Could that be fake news?

    I just remember some of the chants the English 'fans' sing when in Europe. It's all about war and how how many Germans they killed. Bad behavior, absolutely. But not a reason to ask every white man for his passport to check if they are English?

    Yes, I have been there and rented a bike a couple of times. Lovely. I've had several serious accidents with my motorbike, mostly due to potholes and gravel in the curves. This is the reason I'm afraid t ride a bicycle here. Shame, cause I love cycling.

    Let's do the math: 18 years school and uni about 12 km a day, rain and snowstorms included. Amateur cyclist in weekends week nights for maybe 10 years. BMX for 5 years. Anything else?
