  1. Hi Chivas, I would like to transfer THB 200,000 Yes you are right, I will also be charged 300-500 Baht landing fees
  2. Hello Everyone, 🙂 When transferring funds to Thailand and selecting the "OUR" option, I encounter these charges: My bank transfer fees: USD 12 Correspondent Bank charges: USD31 TOTAL cost to transfer funds to Thailand: USD43 Is it correct to assume that there is a markup fee on Correspondent bank charges? If so, would it be more cost-effective for me to choose either the "Shared" or "Ben" option instead of "OUR"? Or it does not really make any difference at all? Please note that I do not have access to Wise or Revolut. Thank you for your help!
  3. been here for a few years and bought land... next step is start to build. But I am a little apprehensive with all the stories im hearing around construction companies
  4. Thank you so much Ian much appreciated 🙂 Im estimating I would need to transfer around 6Million Baht to Thailand to build a home
  5. Thank you Bill97 Do you get a better rate using an International Account or Regular Account
  6. Thank you Prunbangboy 🙂 So it seems FX rates will be the same weather I use ATM, Bank Teller or Wire Transfer
  7. Hello Everyone, Im a newbie here 🙂 I'm seeking advice on the most favorable FX rate for transferring funds to Thailand for a home construction project. Option 1) Withdrawing cash from an ATM using my Schwab Debit Card daily. Option 2) Withdrawing cash using my Schwab card inside the bank with a teller. Option 3) Transferring funds from my Schwab account to Bangkok Bank. Also would I receive a more favorable rate if I ask Schwab to convert USD to THB before transferring to Bangkok Bank? Many thanks!
