We live here with two kids (5 years and 6 months) on 1 year Non-Imm. B and have to make a re-entry every 90 days.

I don't think its easy for the kids (especially for 6 months old one) to make a trip to Combo.

Some sources say that there is no penalties for children under 7 years old.

So we decide to make them permanently overstay.

Have anyone done this before?

A lady in their shop told me that there is no signal in East Pattaya (soi Siam CC).

That sounds strange to me. If they selling Hutch phones in the city there should be good signal around the city.

Yes it like a cubicle. Its located near a children playground. I can observe the TOT technicans doing something there almost every day.

Today a neigbour told me whats going on.

The connection box is getting overheat and turns itself off.

My TOT phone doesn't work every day just after noon. Usually from 1pm till 5pm.

Sometimes as today from 10am.

its going on for 1 month at least when I moved in.

Some neighbours told me that this happens for 3 months already.

Have called TOT call center few times.

For the first time they sent a technician to check a dial tone.

Now they say "everything will be fixed ASAP" every time I call them.

Actually I don't need a phone itself I need an ADSL internet.

TT&T is not available yet in my village.

Have someone experienced something like this?

I think Hucus is trying to say that the exchange rate isn't good when he withdraws from his foreign account using a Visa CC. So he wants to get his "home" currency (i.e. USD, EUR) and exchange at the thai bank on his own at a better rate. Is that right, Hucus?

Also I don't need so much bahts as I can get from the card. I have to exchange them back in order to transfer them to my saving account. I just think the process is not optimized so should be fixed :-)

Well, the problem is that I cannot withdraw to a regualr bank account. I have to use an ATM to get cash.

Then I have to use a bank cash-in to get the money in my personal bank account.

P.S. In Moscow, Russia almost all ATMs are dual or even trial currency - RUB, USD and EUR.

So there's no e-shops in LOS.

I wonder why. Delivery service should be very cheap here.

Visa exchange rate is not good too. It converts usd to bahts using rate like 34.5

When a baby starts receiving usual food the food should specially prepared. It should be made as small as possible. It easy to made an apple for example but not beef (not sure how to properly explain it in English).
