In my 30 years in LOS, I've seen enough... In most places where you come in "poor Isaan", they know only ONE thing : ALCOHOL ! That's where the money is going! So for me, not being a "rich" farang, I will not "help" them with spending the money on beer, whiskey, Lao kao, etc... I help my g/f and her 12-year-old daughter who stays with us. My g/f has a job, and with that money she "takes care" of Mom and Dad. 😉

Seems YOU are a joke mate. It's NOT his job to convict criminals, he only has to CATCH them and the judge will decide what to do with them ! Which he did on a regular base, like murderers, thiefs, robbers, rapers etc..... All over Thailand. Everywhere he intervened all over LOS, he solved the issue in a short time frame and local police commanders were sacked for doing NOTHING about the cases, probably because there was no money involved in those cases, especially in poor places in the country side. I NEVER read anything about him taking brown envelopes. ????

Not only pickup drivers.. There are enough of those local wackos driving around in sedans, pickups etc.... i don't get it why police tolerate it. Not the first time an ambulance arrives in hospital with a DEAD body that maybe could have been prevented if the car(s) in front of the ambulance shouldn't play such loud music so they could hear the sirene behind them (but sigh.... even if they saw or heard the ambulance behind them, they just dont give way.... selfish NUTBAGS who don't care a sh^t ! ????
