  1. No I was not aware of Foxit PDF editor. Just googled it but can only find pay ($99.-!!!!) or trial versions.

Since I'm very allergic to having to pay for software which I use only once in a couple of months I'll have to look around for a simple freeware type of program.

I don't need to "edit" the original form, just want to be able to type in the spaces provided.

    Any suggestions?

  2. Pity the form is only a print version and not the type like the Immigration forms which can be filled in on a PC.

That means back to good old handwriting since our good old (23yo and never repaired) Canon Daisy wheel typewriter has just last week finally quit on us. It even did have a huge 32KB memory in which I had the data for this form stored for many years. Only had to change some date details, insert the form and it printed it perfectly.

  3. Thanks. Yes your right Its the DSL. One bill from TOT 107 a month + one from True.

The TRUE and TOT telephone bills look almost identical in the letterhead.

    What is the phone number?

    example: 02-x..-..-.. x=2,3,4 or 5 is a TOT line, x=6,7,8, or 9 is a TRUE line.

  4. I have the same issue but only with large e-mails. Especially when my son is using torrents my upload is very slow.

Send e-mails (w/ large attachments) when your son isn't using bit torrent, or have him pause torrents while sending large attachments.

That's exactly what I'm doing. My mail is usually not that urgent whereas my son's latest movie or game has of course top priority.

  5. Thanks for all your replies.

No I don't have any LCD phobia.

I need the TV only for my small home office, don't even have DVD player and don't need a connection to PC etc.

My main concern was that I still have the good old Analogue cable box from TRUE which has only a RF output not even AV.

I use it only for news and an occasional movie, that's why I said stereo and bilingual would be a bonus.

I've now settled on a SONY 32" BX300 for 11,990.- at Power Buy.

Now I only have to persuade my wife to go out and get it for me since I can no longer show my face in public (cancer that is causing a severe deformity of may face).

  6. My old CRT will not make it through the next weekend so I'll have to look for something new.

As I recall it had been mentioned here that there is a resolution issue with TRUE on LCD.

We only need a simple model. 32", RF, 2 AV and Component inputs (RF and AV stereo and bilingual would be a bonus but not a must).

Resolution should be so that a clear picture can be viewed from 2-3mtr. distance.

No need for HD and all other fancy things.

What specs especially resolution should I look for? I don't want to get one which displays TRUE only in large pixels.

Any suggestions about brand, Model and price?

  7. What is the receiver's e-mail? is it for [email protected]?

Hotmail blocks SMTP servers from which it has received spam.

If the above is the case contact TOT and they will have to contact hotmail to have their server unblocked.

I had the same problem on TRUE with hotmail and Yahoo receivers some years ago until TRUE changed to a new SMTP server which requires authentication. No problem since.

  8. Thank you!

I know that place. Hope it will work out, and that "morning" isnt to early ;)!

Once again a huge thank you!

The reason I wrote "morning" (5-10 AM on Wednesday) is because after that time most of the "goodies" will have been snapped up by exporters (like us) and landscaping companies. Also during this time you have a good chance to meet the growers directly whereas at other times most people at the shops will only be sales people.

But since you need only one or two plants and this plant is quite common you shouldn't have any problem at any time of the day.
