Parents Demand 1.21M Baht Compensation for Children They Didn’t Raise
MalcolmB replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
You come from a welfare nanny state and have that mindset. You seem to be unaware that millions of Thais need to travel to other areas and provinces to find work to support their families. It is not practical to take the children as there is no family backup there while the parents work long hours and having a grandmother taking care of her family is better than nobody at all. They often take the cheapest accommodation they can find and the kids would be much better off in their home surrounded by extended relatives. There is very little single parent welfare or welfare for the elderly so these parents who travel to Bangkok or wherever are supporting both the kids and their elderly parents. Of course, like some parents, some grandparents are not the best at raising children and you often read about these failures in the news. But the majority are doing an ok job, battling through life as best they can. Time to get off your high horse.- 55 replies

Happens in England also, get arrested for Facebook posts if you complain about the immigrants. But killing women and children with massive bombs daily is somehow legal. I see none of the Jews have been arrested for their equally ugly social media posts? -

A few hundred terrorists on o e day attacked Israel. Hardly comparable to a year of bombs from planes, tanks and 17,000 kids dead and 19,000 orphaned and the Palestinians didn’t bomb Israeli hospitals and cut off food supplies did they. You can not be that dumb, you are just trolling and baiting. -

Are you stark raving mad? I am not bothered by other races or religions in the slightest. That is your type obsessed with all that. I have moved to an area with a lot more ethnic and religious diversity than I left behind. I am not preaching to anyone. I am opposed to killing innocent women and children. To most civilized people that is a normal thing. -

My country is not bombing children in other countries. I don’t have a problem with Muslims, that is your problem. -

If I had to guess it would be organized by a surviving victim who has lost his entire family in the current massacres? Aided by new drone technology or similar. it is coming, it is now just a question of when. -
Elephants and other sick animals evacuated from flooded shelter
MalcolmB replied to webfact's topic in Chiang Mai News
Many other rescue volunteers have also headed up there to help out and many other community groups from around the country have collected supplies and made donations. Thailand excels at helping each other when the going gets tough. Meanwhile here on the forum we have a few snide remarks from the usual culprits who are doing absolutely nothing apart from criticize. They should be deported. -

Nobody was using it as excuse. Rider in hospital, driver disappeared and pedestrian in hospital. But thanks for the great advice as always. Makes a lot of sense. No need for street lights. -

Because the Jews in other countries will avoid the inevitable massacre in Israel. Thousands of women and children are being slaughtered daily and you somehow have made a problem for yourself about “Jews” or “Israelis” -
For sure. That is why after having a couple you NEVER speed, and you carefully follow all road laws. This driver was speeding and going down the wrong way. Would have caused these deaths even if he had of been sober. Some people should never drink drive, many are capable and do it nearly daily without causing any problems. you have to know your limits. When blind drunk I don’t drink drive, that would be dangerous

How fast you get it up to Ralf? -
Not at all. The accident was not caused by the girls, they could have been 40 years old and they still would have been ploughed down by the speeding driver going the wrong way. It could have been you, it could have been me. Many 14 year old girls are sensible and responsible, unlike the speeding 66 year old Brit who killed himself on the bike in Pattaya last night. Are you going to blame his parents?
