The stereotypes are mostly true, relationships with Thai people regarding farangs are almost exclusively transactional.. you are kidding yourself as a farang if you think this isn’t the case

It’s simple, thais view farangs as a financial life raft and that’s all they really view them as.. if you aren’t willing to splash that cash Thai’s won’t give you the time of day generally It’s a transactional relationship between Thai and farang, always has been.

The beach is a good one set in Thailand about a bunch of silly farang thinking they've found paradise in a foreign country.. needless to say the true farang animal came out and it all went tits up in the end.. the only part where I felt it wasn’t realistic is that there were no ladyboys in sight, especially none in the company of the unwashed farang

Not sure I agree with this, Thai people don’t seem to like farang.. just the money and who can blame them really with the poor attitudes most farangs have I have seen plenty of aggression towards farangs almost daily
