  1. Thank you for posting your experience of the border run there. I'm up in north Issan and will do the Laos border crossing in August. I will see how things go and post to here when I do cross border
  2. Thank you for your reply and clarification of the situation. I will look into using Bangkok Buddy & Thai Visa Service.
  3. Yes, I will give that suggestion some thought. I've only had 2 x30 visa exempt stamps and so hopefully that is taken into account rather than number of stamps
  4. I listened to Aussie expat TNT on youtube and he says it is 2 visa exemptions per year. I hope you are right. Have used 2 x 30 days exemptions this year and am now planning to avoid trying a 3rd visit in 2024
  5. Thanks for your reply. I hadn't thought of that aspect. I came in through Nong Khai and well exit via Nong Khai at the end of July. I'll report back on how it went
  6. This sounds quite easy. I am in Thailand on a 30 day visa exemption stamp and have got my new passport and the old passport. I intend to do the stamp transfer and will see how it goes. I see some say I should make a police report too and get a letter from UK embassy asking for stamp transfer. I didn't lose my old passport and so not sure what to report at police station. I just wanted to order a new passport as the old 1 has only a few clean pages left. And the UK passport comes not via the British Embassy but via the outsourced VFS centre in Bangkok.
