  1. I did bring it along, but at the counter the lady put it aside and said not needed. But I did see others with their Tm30's being stapled into their dosier. I don't know why?
  2. I just learnt about it while I was waiting there. Gonna definitely do it next time. Thanks mate
  3. I just got my 30 Days Extension at Bangkok Immigration. Just wanted to inform people who need the required info : I arrived at 10am and waited for 2 hours in the initial queue to get my token number 282 at 1pm. My turn to submit the docs and make the payment came around 1600hrs and the passport was returned to me by 1650hrs. So this is the timeline at the moment in Bangkok guys! Crazy 7 hours long wait.... Last year in 2024 I did my extension around the 3rd week of December and everything was done in under 1 hour if I remember correctly. June 2024 extension took me around 3-4 hours... So this time was the record! I guess I am gonna try using the online thingy in the future. Cheers
  4. Are we talking about the tourist visa extension for 30 days ? Or some other kinda of visa mate ?
  5. Surat is a city in the province of Gujarat in India, which is a dry state i.e No Alcohol is allowed to be sold or consumed. Therefore the excitement . As such the poor and the not so rich travel to Thailand from India, so for them this must have been a grand opportunity to indulge. Whereas the rich and affluent lot head to the West . Cheers .
  6. Just got in yesterday after 2 visits this year , Jan and June ( 30D+30D ) both with extensions. Immigration was a breeze roughly 1 min and stamped in.I was in the priority line during immigration so the wait too was minimal. Although the signs about the wait in all the 3 immigration sections showed a max wait of 10 mins and minimum wait of 8 mins. This was around 2pm. So take it easy guys, all good for now at Suvarnabhumi as far as immigration is concerned. All fast and easy. Cheers
  7. Rob, can you please define close succession ? Will 5 months be in close succession to the last departure ? Thanks Cheers
  8. Hi guys, I went to the IATA travel center website to look for updates to the thailand entry requirements for airline check in. Surprise, they have added the option of extension of stay and not limited to 60days return/onward ticket ( which was there earlier). This is a snip from the website. People can check on IATA Travel center , travel requirements page for their journeys. Cheers
