  1. It sounds like you think that you have set up Two Factor Authentication on a Norton account. If you have, then you might have noticed that when you set it up, they gave you TEN single-use securities codes for you to use in scenarios just like this, when you don't have access to your mobile phone number, mobile authenticator application or a USB Security key. So just use one of those ten codes if you saved them somewhere. Other than that, why not call them if you don't know what you are doing?
  2. What is this nonsense?

  4. I still don't understand the issue. Are you saying that you need an OTP in order to sign into your Norton account in order to cancel your subscription? https://support.norton.com/sp/en/us/home/current/solutions/kb20100512172507EN Please try to properly explain the issue.

  8. Why are you quoting using a picture from the U.K.? You're in Thailand aren't you? If you want the kind of mushroom shown there, you might find it in Makro. But otherwise Het Fang/Straw mushrooms are the closest, in taste and texture, to the kind of mushrooms that you would find in the 'West' and you may find them in local markets.
  9. If it needs to be Canadian, then get a Canadian number. If you have to pay for it, then that's the cost of doing business. Or do you expect the 'alias' to be free too? If you want a service, who should provide it to you for free? Example of an International SIM with a UK or USA or Canadian number: https://www.wraptel.com/ US$2.50 per month for the number. No Roaming charges for receiving SMS.

  11. I think he was right the first time 😊
  12. Possibly because he already has a 12 month SIM data package....like you. He may have been referring to a contract, as opposed to not having any commitment other than a single payment....like yourself.
  13. So why not get ONE number? It doesn't need to be Canadian, does it? I don't see a problem. You don't need to pay for Roaming to receive a text message, so why not use a Thai SIM, activate International Roaming and disable Data Roaming at source?
  14. I think AIS has an annual SIM for just that. 1500 baht for Unlimited 2 Mbps for 12 months. https://www.ais.th/consumers/package/prepaid/gadgetsim
  15. Again, it's not about the money. It's that they misunderstood their friend's explanation, thinking that they no longer needed a mobile data pack with the MiFi. I don't think they have a problem paying for the package at all.
  16. It's not about 'convenience' and 'peace of mind', but the obvious fact that they didn't understand how a MiFi works. That they would still need the 2.5k package for the MiFi. But if they have a Thai spouse, I suggest they look at GoMo for higher speeds.
  17. Now that you write it in English.... But you failed to explain to the OP that he needed mobile data for the MiFi. They aren't 'technically minded' and it was obvious that explanation was necessary.
  18. I don't understand anything of what you have written. 😊
  19. If you don't pay the subscription, you'll won't have any more mobile data(Unlimited 4Mbps) unless you pay by the MB, neither on your phone nor on the MiFi 😊 The MiFi is simply a replacement for your phone. I won't say that your friend is an idiot, only that you perhaps did not understand his explanation. In order to use a MiFi, you'll need to take the SIM out of the phone to put it into the MiFi. So then no SIM in phone unless you obtain another. MiFi is useful if you want to keep an 'always on' connection at home, whilst you take your phone outside, but then you'll need another SIM for the phone. As an aside GoMo, which is an AIS subsidiary, offers 12 month of Unlimited 15Mbps for around 3100 baht. So a bit more capable than your current 4Mbps.
  20. There's usually much more going on than meets the eye of the average reader. His daughter is simply incapable of running the show and is really just a 'pretty face'. PR if you will. Thaksin is the deal maker. Police, rather than Army. So under him, the Police budget rose and they had free rein in certain areas. But of course you still need an army connection. Enter the Wongsuwons. Then the falling out. None of them trust each other. Of course I'm leaving parts out...deliberately.
  21. Hard to believe that nineteen people agreed with your ridiculous summary, mixing up one of the perpetrators with the victim.
  22. Yes, I know. But your reply was five months too late, due to the thread being revived by a Spammer...
  23. Unfortunately, a Spammer in the post above yours revived an old thread. It was nearly five months ago.
