  1. gf in Pattaya always knew where to purchase alcohol 24/7 - 365. Used to bring it in black plastic bags
  2. I used to date a massage girl... she also described how little training she received prior to start working n the industry... from then on and even before - I stopped doing massages in Thailand.... maybe only foot massage I would allow them to perform....
  3. The homeowners are next... it seems that Thai government encourages Thai nominees to rat on foreigners (not only granting them immunity but for a financial gain as well) They are going after foreigners really...
  4. I had just contacted my Thai attorney and she said - that no need to worry the house in Thai nominee company is "for director's living" and I am the director....
  5. As of late these are "economic migrants" not the ones that trying to escape oppression, abuse, etc. There is no room for economic migrants in USA....!!!
  6. Here is what I learned about Lazada in Thailand: Do not buy batteries or UPS batteries there (they will be closed to expiration date). Do not purchase expensive brand snickers / shoes there - it will be knock offs. It's OK to purchase auto parts / motorcycle parts and accessories and small electronics,,, If you are purchasing clothes - buy with exact measurements: i.e : Waist size 32", chest 70", pant length 32"... Do not buy sizes "S" "M" "L" - they will be off for sure.
  7. It is interesting - maybe you lived where nice people lived. I lived primarily in Pattaya and landlords ALWAYS tried to game me. Also in Chiang Mai - they tried.
  8. I NEVER rent from Thai people - you've got no leverage with them. I rent from foreigners only. One time the guy would not want to return me my deposit, so I paid 2k to police people - they have arrived and asked him to pay. At the same time I told him that my next move is to go to immigration with the letter for them to investigate his behavior and question him if he pays taxes to Thai government on his rental proceeds.. Guess what? I had my deposit back the next day! (That's called leverage)
