Those who feared complaining must be the ones operating restaurants without license... or else why will they not approach the police. Anyways, it is very pathetic behavior... eating and then moving out without paying... worst category of humans if anyone does it...

I wish Thai authorities can invest in development of agriculture and other economic sectors... rather than just rely on tourism... so that the people get better jobs and have some economic well being. The other day, I was seeing on CNA, a program on Thailand economy... I was shocked... As of September 2024, Thailand's household debt was 92% of the country's GDP... rather than just focusing on casinos or cruise tours or tourism... they need to focus on other ways to generate jobs. Because in a decades time, Vietnam and other countries will take over Thailand in terms of tourism... over tourism is bound to have a very significant negative impact on the natural resources of Thailand...

After seeing around in Thailand for few years... one thing that surprises me the most... inspite of having good annual rainfall in Thailand... the most of the agricultural land is left without any farming for one half the year... I won't be wrong to say that Thailand will be the only country that produces only one crop a year rather than 2 crops a year inspite of good rainfall. Government should consider make reservoirs and canals than to plan opening casinos here. If a farmer can produce 2 crops a year... they will have a better financial income and stabily.

3 months ago travelled to Ubon... 4 weeks ago Traveled to Khon kaen and last week to buriram to see the Thai Moto Gp by train... seeing the work progress... the conditions... keeping in mind the weather, Inflation and US tariffs announcements... I think if this project completes by 2028 end or mid 2029... it should be considered as good luck...

Thailand needs Chinese tourists... and they are the major contributors... Good or bad is not the point... it all depends on an individuals perception. I simply know it because after traveling across Thailand last 14 years... I have seen increased presence of Chinese in hotels across the Thailand, increased signboards in thai markets with Chinese language and announcements in MRT, BTS, Airport etc... it's in Thai, english , followed by Chinese... so it's quite clear...

Here they are praising... And in Bangkok Post their is an article that now Samui will get more fame and increased tourism... which will result in woes... 😆 🤣 😂 😹 TAT and Govt Auth... first please decide what you want - Increased tourism so that increased revenue income or woes...
