I dont know your nationality but seems you suffer from something against Indians. As I see to it, Pattaya seeing surge of Indians is because of travel tour packages. I went to pattaya once that to before covid... I didn't liked being there... not because of people of any nationalities but the place... and of course it's a sex city so bulk male tourists are in pattaya to have sex... it's simple. I see people here online ranting against Russians, Indians, Chinese... but I have stayed with all of them... I didn't see any problem... yea few stupid people are every where and from all nationalities... including your nationality.

It's not just the Chinese... other nation tourists are also going in lesser numbers as compared to before... I see lesser Koreans in Thailand and more of them to Vietnam... even Japanese for that matter...

Indians are traveling to Vn in huge numbers... and why will Chinese complain about Indians in Thailand... ? They both are same in mannerisms

Accommodation rentals are almost half as compared to Thailand... beaches are great... less crowded... food depends upon own choices... cost of living is cheaper as compared to Thailand

With the conflicts in middle east... the closure of air space in that region... many flights have got cancelled and also the cost is rising up for flights as well as fuel... which will significantly effect the tourism industry in SE Asia... The way things are going... seems Now till October... is a no go for many travelers...

Vn offers plenty more options than Thailand... I been there many time in past 6 years... very clean beaches especially Nha trang, Hoi An, Danang, Tuy Hoa, Quy Nhon... Good for swimming, cheaper rentals for apartments, easy 3 month evsia, food is average, coffee is top notch, people are good in both countries, I have been a Thailand lover till now but due to cost factor and Visa durations and ease of getting apartment on hire in Vn... from 2026 onwards I will be in Vn
