  1. I had a similar experience. I had sat on something which left several pieces of plastic imbedded in my thigh. I even went to A&E and told them there were pieces in there. They were adamant that there was nothing there. After pulling six pieces out by myself the wound finally healed almost overnight. What I am trying to say is, if you go to the doctor or a hospital make sure you present your case robustly if you want a good outcome.
  2. Wise transfers from UK now 3 days ( better than 4 days I suppose)

  7. Deport the <deleted> and revoke re-entry! - simples
  8. "a strategic decrease in vaccine procurement for hospitals" What procurement? You can't get a COVID vaccine in Korat ANYWHERE.
  9. They're Russians, what do you expect? Maybe Thailand could export the fruit to be eaten by invaders in Ukraine
  10. MM, Something to do with re-rolling re-bar, making it weaker and more liable to cracks, perchance?
  11. My wife received a phone call claiming to be from the PEA, asking for access to our property to investigate "excessive electricity usage". We had just receive the latest bill which was normal. My wife rang the PEA, who confirmed that the phone call was nothing to do with them. Beware of any call out of the blue concerning any services, requesting access to your property!
  12. Lucky he got caught here! If he had got to the UK then he definitely would be spending 10+ in the pokey. The Thai Police are all over this with sniffer dogs and humint from the weed sellers, so they don't get embarrassed by big drug seizures at the Other end!
  13. There are only four ways to avoid conscription. Medically unfit, Education at university or college, attending a draw and not getting picked, or an illegal bribe to an official. Sounds like you only have two options:-go through the draw process and hope for the best (up to 50% chance of being picked), or the bribe. A friend of mine's father stumped up for the bribe and he left Thailand to live in the UK, joining the RAF.
