    Here in Samui a normal extraction is 1000 - 1200bt, a big molar will be 2000 + bt. May be we are lucky but my experience of dentists here has been excellent, far better than the third world NHS dentists we have back in the UK.

    How old do you have to be to be considered "elderly" ? And as already pointed out how do you pay a hospital in the case of an emergency?

    When purchasing in the UK it MUST be put in a SEALED bag or security in Bangkok will confiscate it. A major perk for them.

    Received this form a few weeks ago, went in to K Bank customers services and the very helpful person filled it out for me. Needed Thai address, Passport number, UK address, UK tax number ( NI number) and that was it ,took 10 minutes, easy.
